Great product for anyone w/ sensitive skin or chemical sensitivities --- works well in most machines & environmentally conscious
I bought this as an alternative to Tide's Free & Gentle because the price at the time was significantly lower. While this is marketed as a baby laundry detergent product, the only child in my house is Lilly and she's a rabbit (and given she is potty trained, has fur, and cleans herself, I do not need laundry detergent for her.) More or less my need was for something that cleaned reasonably well but did not irritate my skin as certain dyes and fragrances can. Overall, this does what I need it to do and I think it is a good product.*From my own usage, I have found that Seventh Generation...---Does NOT irritate sensitive skin---Does NOT irritate asthma (despite it having some scent to it)---Does NOT leave any residue on clothes (which can lead to skin irritation)---Does NOT actively brighten colors (nor does it fade colors, either)---Does an OK job at removing stains (like Tide's product, I think it works very well for this sort of product designed with sensitivities in mind, but with that said I sometimes need to use some sort of a pre-treatment stain-remover for tougher stains, which I do not mind but wanted to note for someone who wants a true all-in-one product, as this is not it)---Does a good job at removing sweat stains (again taking into account how this is made for sensitivities instead of being an aggressive cleaner)---Does an excellent job at removing sweat odors---Works equally-well in front loading and side loading machines---Works equally-well in both standard and HE machines---Has a top cup design that is not very durable and does not hold up well to handling seen with shipping (some of mine occasionally arrive with a cracked cup)I figured I would list my observations individually in the event that certain ones apply to you more than others. But overall, 7th Gen works really well. As an added bonus, this is a product that is mindful of the environment, which is always a good thing. So whether you use this for babies or for someone with sensitive skin or for someone who prefers to avoid certain chemicals found in most detergents, this is a great product and it can often be had for a great price***..((((***Note that I have observed this is one of those products in which the price varies substantially, and shifts on a frequent basis...if you add this to your cart and monitor it over a few days or weeks, you may be able to get a better deal on it than the current pricing! *Also note that this stuff is super-concentrated, so dosing correctly is important [when I first got it, I did not believe such a tiny cap-full was sufficient for a full-load, but it was and is.]))))

Truly fragrance and dye free
I’ve been trying to switch to non toxic/cleaner products so I wanted to try this brand as I’ve heard good things. We have an infant and have only used sensitive detergents so I was nervous for the switch but so far, it’s been great! It’s truly a fragrance free (not even a chemical smell to the detergent prior to the wash) and I love that it’s dye free. The clothes still smell clean after the wash and truly feel clean.I will say for tougher stains I’ve still been using a stain remover spray so I’m not sure about the full ability of stain removal

Stylish laundry detergent bottle, but mild scent and hard-to-read cap markings
This laundry detergent comes in a modern, well-designed bottle—it looks great on the shelf and adds a bit of style to an otherwise everyday product. The bottle is easy to grip and pour from, which is a nice touch. The scent is quite light, which might work well for those who prefer subtle fragrance, but if you’re expecting that fresh laundry smell to linger, it might feel too mild.Another small issue is the cap: it has measuring lines, but they’re not very visible or easy to read, especially under typical indoor lighting. Also worth noting—it’s more expensive than what I paid at GUS supermarket, although to be fair, that was during a promotion. Still, it feels a bit pricey at full retail.Overall, it’s a stylish product with thoughtful packaging, but a few things could be improved for better value and usability.

Best Laundry Detergent out there
This has come to be my favorite for laundry. It does a terrific job on hand-wash items and heavy soil items. Also, it doesn't have a lingering scent to it, which I appreciate.

best detergent
Seventh Generation Concentrated Laundry Detergent in Free & Clear Fragrance-Free formulation has become a staple in my household for several reasons. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate its gentle yet effective cleaning power. It effectively removes stains and odors without causing irritation or triggering allergies, making it suitable for the whole family. The detergent is plant-based and free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, and optical brighteners, which aligns with my preference for eco-friendly products. The concentrated formula means that a little goes a long way, making it cost-effective per load compared to other brands.I also appreciate Seventh Generation's commitment to sustainability. The detergent's packaging is made from recycled materials and is designed to be recyclable, reflecting their dedication to reducing environmental impact. However, while it performs well on everyday laundry, some users may find that it doesn't tackle tough stains as effectively as more heavy-duty detergents. Additionally, the lack of fragrance may not appeal to those who enjoy scented laundry products. In conclusion, Seventh Generation Concentrated Laundry Detergent is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a reliable, eco-friendly detergent that's gentle on skin and the environment. It combines effective cleaning power with a commitment to sustainability, making it a standout option in the market.

Seventh Generation Detergent Packaging
Product excellent BUT issue with packaging: Unlike in the past the top 'caps' are no longer sealed with vinyl tape. So there's some leakage -- Not a lot, but still unnecessary/unfortunate.
