Split 6

We had a single run of clear-com headset going to the backstage area of our theater. We added this box, and we were able to split that signal 6 times. Indispensable. When we moved from a vintage Clear-com "party-line" system to the new Helix digital system, we expected this box would be finished- no so! We were able to split a single helix outgoing line (3-pin xlr), and it provided power and signal to the digital belt pack. No signal problems at the box (as long as it's not the incoming cable), and one line with a bad cable does not affect the others on the box.

I do a lot of intercom work & these are great for distributing Clear Com. I have 1 box for channel A and 1 box for channel B. Very well made, they can definitely withstand being dropped on the floor.

This box help me patch my left and right signal to Six output with a rally good quality..

A bit expensive but they are ROCK solid. Had these now for a few tours and they definitely will stand the test of time

Whirlwind Split 6 is a good solution for the Mixers outputs *** you can increase your output for any device ( camera , recorder , broadcast ) etc ..... you must note the 6 outputs controls by one fader ****

Shipment and delivery are on time. I like the material but the plastic housing of the XLR jacks are not screwed but are riveted to the pvc casing. I hate it when I buy this kind of products at this price point that when it breaks, I can't easily fix or replace components. But I'm keeping this anyway because I want to modify it, make this 2 channels IN and split it 3 Out Left, 3 Out Right.

This product works. A must have for audio pros. Works with Clear Com, Porta com devices along with single audio XLR runs when you need to split something correctly. No hum, no problems.

Works as advertized. If you need a XLR splitter this is the one. I recommend it very highly. I only give it 4 stars because its made of plastic instead of metal.
