I have a large knife collection, and ruined a few good knife edges using cheap traditional sharpeners, this brought my what I thought Ruined knives back to razor sharpness and polished almost like new!

It is what it is. It's a Chinese clone of a good American made product. Ram style base holds good at first, but vacuum leaks down on every smooth surface I've tried it on. 5 minutes in and you have a knife sharpener that's moving around. If you spend the money and buy good stones, you will probably be alright, but for about the same money as this with the extra cost of the stones, you'd be close to the price of a new KME sharpener with diamond stones. Save your money. Not worth the headache.

I found this to be the easiest to use of the sharpeners I've tried. The stones I received are flat, so differences may be due tomanufacturing problems.

LOVE IT! Only change I would make is slightly better quality stones. It does a really good job as is though.
