Gets the job done
Knife is great, does the job as it should. Very well built and you can tell it is quality. The 30 degree angle makes it easier to work with compared with a regular exacto knife. Giving it 4 stars because it does not come with any replacement blades.

Better than the $1 ones
I use these types of knives a lot for tint, wrap, cutting painters tape etc. and wanted the fanciest one I could buy instead of the cheap $1 ones. It’s not quite as amazing as I thought it might be but still the best one I’ve used. Kinda wish it was all metal and slightly easier to swap blades out. Still happy with my purchase.

Nice
I wrap cars so I wanted to try this one out. I like the fact that it's hidden and it's harder to unintentionally open. It's easy to use, and the blades stay sharp inside. Built well and functions great. I think it's a good value for the money. Would buy another.

I just love that it's encased within a larger frame and that frame happens to be wood, not some cheap plastic. Overall, it's a very nice precision knife perfect for precision cutting and artwork.

I ordered this little knife for a kitchen backsplash project using peel and stick raised tile. It worked great!! I loved the fact that it was smaller than the typical box cutter knives. I have small hands and I found it easier to control. It would be great for any number of uses. Would recommend.

I basically hold it like a pencil, pointer finger perfectly on top allows varied down pressures. The blade does not push back in, nor does it pull out. Other razor knives pulled the blades out when I was cutting thicker vegatble tanned leather. This razor knife does not. Love the 30° blade angle.

The VViVID brand utility knife looks nice. The ratcheting for the blade is good. There's more plastic on it than I would like but it feels good overall. The blade snipper at the back is a nice touch.! I had a chance to use it and made several cuts on a long piece of VViVID thick 3D weave vinyl. It's sharp for most of the cuts until I had to cut out the embossing on the ACER notebook's case cover logo. The blade was not sharp enough after several cuts. So, I had to break off the first blade section to get another sharp edge going. It was tough cutting through the thick textured vinyl but the result came out decent, not the best. The knife cutting was harder to control when it comes to cutting curved edges around the letters. One more thing about this knife is that it only comes with one blade. The way it is designed and the way it holds the blade with the retractable switch side the handle, it cannot carry any spare blades inside. For this initial review, I think the utility knife from VViVID and similar Chinese look-alikes is good overall. I think the price can be way less. I'll leave my review as is until I update it for a longer term review.
