I switched from Olaplex to Davines about a year ago. I really loved the Oi line but i’m also a product junkie & like trying new. I ran out of the Oi shampoo and figured i’d try this. I love! The fragrance is nice, reminds me of citrus/lemon but it’s not overpowering in my opinion. My hair is wavy & color treated, I occasionally use heat to style but normally just let it air dry. My hair feels soft but also voluminous enough I can style it without going flat. I read some reviews stating it didn’t lather but I’m wondering if those people emulsify the product in their hands before applying to scalp? I had zero issues. 10/10!

I'm in my early 50's and have always had thin hair, but in the last year it has gotten even thinner, including my hairline, and it was difficult to style because of it being so thin and somewhat dry. I was miserable and even cried over my hair. doesn't do that much for volume but it doesn't weigh down my fine hair either and i can now wash every other day instead of daily so i am happy

To read the reviews you’d think this stuff smelled like rotten eggs or, even worse, head & shoulders, but it’s a pleasant smell! It’s musky and earthy and does lean towards a more masculine scent profile, so if you prefer something more feminine, you probably won’t like it. It really delivers on bounce and volume!

I’ve tried ordering this product multiple times, and every time the cap is completely broken. I think this is a product design issue. Sometimes it leaks as a result, and sometimes it doesn’t. Know that going in. That’s the main reason for my low review.If you can use the product, I’ve used products from this line for years since my favorite salon introduced me to them. The line can be intimidating since they have so many products, but they are natural and high quality. They smell great. With this one, know that plumping is not the same as hydrating. It’s going to help with volume but not really moisture, so if that’s what you’re looking for maybe add in a weekly hydrating mask or choose a hydrating shampoo from this line instead.

Davines is costly but worth every penny once you find the right products for your hair. The replumping line delivers sift shiny hair to color treated thin hair. Not too heavy on the hair.

The fragrance gave me a headache. It's so strong. Wish they'd make a fragrance free.
