Great toy! Works well indoors, too!
I got this for my kids to use at my son's 5th birthday. We have another "mini" version of a different brand and we like it fine, but the base is a little bit wonky (our fault, not theirs) so I wanted something that was harder to mess up and could be used consistently with a bunch of preschoolers at a birthday party. This works great! It may not fly quite as high as the other brand (not sure) but it certainly is high enough to satisfy my kids. They even used it in the house (vaulted 2-story high ceiling) and it thwacked into the ceiling each time which they were very satisfied with. They had so much fun that I bought a 2nd one so we can have rocket races. And of course we got extra rockets. I love that the cost for replacements is decent. The fins eventually fell off the rockets after repeated whacks into the ceiling, but that makes sense, and they could be repaired easily with a dab of glue. The kids loved playing with them over and over. And even stacking them to see how high 3 rockets would go (spoiler: not as high) :) One thing though, the pad is a little bit smaller than the other brand so it makes more sense for my kids to stomp on it than jump on it. I loved watching them jump into the air with increasing enthusiasm in order to get it to fly higher on our other brand. Not the same thing with a big stomp. My nearly-5 year old says he likes it just as much, if not more, so this is a minor thing, but worth potentially considering. (In short, you jump on a stomp rocket and stomp on a jump rocket.)

GREAT toy! We even bought a second!
We purchased one of these for our son and he absolutely loved it. After A LOT of use the rockets started to get worn (which naturally happens with a well played with toy). It was such a great toy that a few years later we purchased a new one. It's great for ALL ages. Little ones (ages 1-3 or so) love to watch it go up, kids ages 4ish and up love to jump and launch it and even my 10 year old son and his friends love playing with it. One of the few toys that all 3 of my boys (ages 5, 7 and 10) can all play with together and enjoy. There are 3 rockets so they each choose a color and take turns launching it. Even when it's not their turn to launch, they love to watch each other launch them. They go REALLY, REALLY high! We've had to collect them off the roof of our 2 story home...and out of trees, so an open space is best. Even adults love this toy. Worth every penny! It's nice to see a fun toy that does NOT take batteries. It gets the kids outside and they jump to launch and they run to chase the rockets.

Best birthday gift! But parents need to initiate play.
I feel that this toy requires some supervision. Especially with children under 10. I’ve had several stomp rockets and gave this one as a gift. While all of the parents were ignoring the kids I opened it up and got them playing. Every kid there wanted to stomp after they saw how high it would go. So I organized them into a line and order. The Home had ceilings 2 stories high and the rockets would hit the ceiling!! The kids absolutely loved it and stomped those rockets for a good hour. Also used to entertain siblings of the kids on my sons soccer team at each practice and game. The fins did fall off quite quickly. But it doesn’t affect them. I don’t let my kids use it outdoors unless we are in an open field because I don’t want them on the roof.

My new go-to toy for summer birthdays! Simply amazing!
Like Shrinky-Dinks (my "go-to" for winter birthdays), this is one of those super-cool toys that no one knows about because it's not a cartoon tie-in, but that never fails to make kids squeal with delight every time. Being a parent who isn't too keen on licensed stuff or electronic toys that do everything for the child, I bought the Jump Rocket for my active, space-obsessed 7-year-old's birthday, and although she only weighs about 40-some pounds, she was able to launch the rockets way higher than our three-story house. She came up with stories as she was launching and chasing the rockets (at one point she and I were ducks hitching a ride to Saturn), and within minutes she discovered how to alter the trajectory and velocity of the launches so she could successfully nest all three rockets in our little dogwood tree. She was laughing so hard she was snorting! And, as other posters have noted, dads and moms have a blast with this toy too. It's that irresistible! My only complaints, and they're minor, is that at first we couldn't find the launch tube because it was inside the green rocket, and that the tail pieces tend to come off after several hours of use, so keep lightweight glue handy. Overall, an excellent toy your child is guaranteed to love, at an exceptionally reasonable price. Very, very highly recommended!

What a blast! Kids love playing with this!
1st off, kids love playing with this! I set it up the 1st and now they handle it, they are 4 and 6. There is no way, even with me jumping on the air pouch, does it go 300ft. I mean not even close, the product should not say that at all. NOW it does go pretty high maybe 50-60-70 feet but 300, not a chance. I took off a star for the false advertising. The hose is not well made and cheap, it goes from the blaster part to the air puch, it hasn't broken yet but was very kinked and does not really come un-kinked, this impacts the air flow. Overall the quality is cheap, but does it work, yes it does. The rockets are just simple foam darts with plastic tips. Don't want it to hit you in the eye, obviously, but they look fairly and feel fairly harmless. I would buy this again or give it as a gift. I may try one of the other brands of the same type of rocket. So far we have spent a fee hours using this thing and its enjoyable.

So simple and so much fun!
We saw a stomp rocket type toy at a birthday party and I came home to search for one for our 20 month old twin girls. This Geospace set is perfect. It was not immediately easy for the girls -- which is exactly what I wanted. It took a week for them to fully gain the new gross motor skills to balance and step on the rocket launcher with their full body weight on their heels (otherwise they are not strong enough to push it down). This launcher is very compact (which is much appreciated in a household full of toys), and the rockets are entirely made of foam, so no chance of gouging anyone's eyes or ceiling out. They are just so much fun! p.s. The toy does feel a little "cheap" because it's just some simple plastic pieces and some foam rockets. So if you are trying to impress someone with an expensive feeling gift don't buy this. But if you are looking for lots of fun for under $10 for your toddlers, this is perfect!

Fun to use...though constuction seems cheap for the price...
When I opened the packaging, I felt that the construction of the item itself was cheap, given the price. I think thi would be more of a $10 item. The plastic was a lot lighter than expected. We finally took it to the park and was very happy with the performance. Despite it's cheap construction, it held up very well. We loaded the arrows and jumped and stomped on the pad, watching th arrows fly high. 250 feet....definitely not...more like 100 feet ro so. But fun non the less. I still feel a $10 or $12 price would be mre appropriate.
