Catalina Creations AD366 26" Round Copper Colored Accented Cauldron, Black

I bought this a year ago (2019) to have in time to set up in the driveway for Halloween. I’d noticed other neighbors doing the same the year before and loved the idea. Just sitting out in the driveways by the fire, passing out treats to the kiddos. We’ve used it a handful of times other than that. I will say that it’s been in my backyard in North Texas sun the entire year and still looks fantastic.

Sent this to my son as a Christmas present. He opened before Christmas and used it that night!

I got the firepit for my daughter house warming. We had a fire in it that nite, she was thrilled w/ it! It was exactly what I wanted for her. The mountains on it & the moon & stars lookg out over the ocean from her deck, was fantastic w/ the fire beaming thru the design on pit to match her views. Nothg is perfect, but this made a beauriful nite for all of us w/ the ambiance from the fire & very pretty pit.Aloha🌸

Not a very functionally built product. Also even though the product was packed very well it came damaged in some way on almost the complete surface.The base is not securing the housing at all, it just sits on top of the feet, with a small lip that keeps the cauldron in position, though it can easily be a hazard when containing any flammable material.The cauldron is almost not functional. With the design having such large holes, that are far to low on the product. The holes will allow for embers, and ashes to easily escape and again become a very dangerous hazard.The lid also doesn't fit well, you have to precariously place it on a couple of nuts that stick out to keep the lid in place. Again a hazard... it also comes with a fire poker that has no place to put it on the product so it's just loose and up to the consumer to have a place for it.Overall definitely dont recommend this, it's cute, but definitely not worth it. It's not functional. And very dangerous in design.

When the fire pit arrived I was surprised at how light this box was. Upon opening it I found several places where the thin paint has rubbed off during transportation. This fire pit consists of 4 pieces when you put it together. The bottom base, the fire pit itself (with 3 screws you insert into welded on nuts for the top screen to sit on), the top screen and a handle to remove the lid with when hot or in use.After you insert the 3 screws for the lid to sit on & place the screen lid on top, you will see it does not fit on all 3 nuts or all 3 screws, it is either a bit too large or small to fit nicely on one set or the other, so on ours it will sit on 2 nuts and 1 screw.The handle also arrived with some paint scuff marks. It looks like I had already used this many times. There are also cases of over spray where the black from the inside is on the copper color outside. Also as you can see the paint job overall is not that good.We had a very hard rainstorm last night. As this does not have any drain holes, water will just sit. Should not be a big deal but I am already seeing signs of rust.So with this it looks like I will need to get some high temp black & copper colored paints to repaint this to help it last more then 1 season.
