Amazon Basics USB-Powered Computer Speakers for Desktop or Laptop PC with Volume Control, Plug-N-Play, Black

I ordered these and received them the same day.They replaced speakers that I had been reusing on newer computers that were originally from my old Sony VAIO desktop computer, bought about 2003. The only thing wrong with the old speakers is that the volume control button was starting to act up and wear out from years of usage thus losing sound output on the right speaker occasionally.I bought the speakers with the AC power connection. They were easy to set up, the only problem I had was stringing wires through my massive wooden computer desk, but that was no fault of the new speakers.I was concerned about some one-star reviews for this product. It could be these folks were using the USB version of the speakers. This means that the OS on their computers would probably have to find a driver for this audio device. I did not have this problem and my new speakers plugged into the same audio port as my old ones.In any case, I am pleased with the both size and the quality of the sound produced by these inexpensive speakers.

I give it a 4 because they are not as loud as I had hoped. Other than that, excellent sound.

It's fine. For the price it's a good deal. That bright light people complain about is real, but just stick a tiny piece of black electrical tape over it and your problem is solved. There is a little bit of tinny-ness to the sound, but it's subtle. Works fine for me.

I wanted a pair of speakers for my pc. These amazon basics, computer speakers for Desktop perfectly does the job. They are simple to connect, powered by AC, have a volume control and sound very good. There is no line noise and are perfectly quiet when there is no audio being played. The cables are long enough to spread the speakers across my desk, the power cable is long enough to allow plugging in to my backup power and the audio cable is long enough to place the speakers as I want. I recommend these speakers to anyone that wants a good, economical and stereo sound set of speakers.

Sound Quality : Not Bad for the price. it is okay.Design : The blue LED light is super bright. It would be better if they dim it down a little. The center of mass of the speaker is too high and it tips over easily.

I bought these for my TV in the bedroom. They are a great improvement over the speakers in the TV as it has terrible speakers. They have great treble and high frequency sound. The bass is there but very weak. I think they sound nice and are a good value for the price.

I bought these because the built-in speakers in my monitor had horrible sound quality.These AmazonBasics speakers are solid. Sound quality is excellent, suitable for video conference and casual video watching. Only concern is the very bright blue led that fortunately goes off when you turn them off. Overall a very good item.

Great sound in a small package. I opted for the AC plug-in model instead of the USB version because I wanted to make sure the speakers had ample power. On my Windows desktop computer they will amplify sound as loud as I care to go. I liked them enough to order a second set of speakers for my MacBook Pro. I found the maximum sound volume to be considerably less, yet adequate for my needs. Love the great value and the small and compact footprint.
