A simple guide on how to go about playing chess.Everything neatly explained, right from the initial position of the board to the pieces on it to the positions the pieces can move to. It also has chapters on Opening move strategies, middle game tactics and end game positions.If someone needs a book that helps them understand and fine tune elementary chess playing skills, this is the right book.Gave it a 4 because the diagrams are in black and white whereas the author has mentioned about colours in the diagram ( Guess the cost of the book did not allow colour printings :-) )

Excellent book.Bought it for my kid but ended up learning so much my self also.Great value for money and a must buy for beginners.

Good Book but not so much for intermediate players.
