Bright light and last
This is my second bulb like this I have bought. the 1st one lasted me about 3 years. they provide plenty of light. they fit well in my fixture just make sure that the base of the fixture will fit the light bulb base. I would say these lights are a good value for the money spent. I will buy again when the time comes.

Really BRIGHT for a fair price! Great folks to buy from too!
I bought these bulbs to replace 250 watt Metal Halide wall pack bulbs. All of my wall packs are 25' - 40' high on the sides of commercial buildings. I'd grown tired of humping those heavy things down a ladder to replace ballasts and I was also hoping to see some REAL $$ savings on my $2900+ monthly electric bills. I manage a large climate-controlled self-storage facility with multiple 3 story buildings and each building has at least EIGHT wall packs + 4 heat and A/C units per building so I see some HEFTY power bills! I have been using these corn bulbs for over a year and DO see considerably smaller electric bills. This company Auzilar.... TOP NOTCH !! I have (in the past) bought bulbs from several different sellers and several different brands of corn style LED bulbs...just to see which was best... After my recent experience...I will not buy them from anyone else! About a week after installing these 2 bulbs, one started flickering and went dead the next night. I checked the power to the bulb socket with my meter and the socket was getting steady 115 volt AC so I blamed the bulb and requested a warranty replacement...fully expecting the usual...mail it back,,pay shipping and some other kind of "handling" fee... you know the drill some of these companies give you.... but NO! I contacted Auzilar and they apologized for the bad bulb and mailed me a replacement THAT DAY.... I tracked it. They also didn't require me to return the bad bulb and charged be ZERO DOLLARS... THAT is what a warranty USED to be...and still is with these folks! Fast Forward a little over a month...same fixture...flickering again.. so I go up to remove the bulb and, upon closer inspection (with the power off!) I see there is mucho corrosion on the inside base of the lamp socket! I replaced the socket and...voila! The bulb works flicker-free for a week! So.....I drag out the other "bad" bulb that they had originally warranted....put it in the new socket....and IT burns for over a week flicker-free!! I guess the sharp pointy ends of my Fluke meter pushed right through the corrosion...but the smooth metal base of the bulb didn't... I'm an idiot for not 100% verifying the issue before blaming the bulb......but I'm not a crook. I contacted Auzilar and explained what I had done and offered to pay them for the second bulb.... Their response?? Keep is as our gift.THAT gets my business from now on! It should get YOUR business too! These people are straight good business people! And their 55 watt corn bulb shines as bright as a 250 watt metal halide from 30 feet up for a LOT less money!

Lights up parking area
We live in a rural area and have this over our garage door, connected to the garage door light, which makes it light up our approach to the garage at night. Like it well.

Super bright, great for workspace/barn areas
Love these kinds of light bulbs. We have a horse barn that we use these in and it works great, lights up the whole area really nicely. Unless you have larger sockets already, you will need a reducer to screw these in since the bases are larger. All in all a great purchase. Worth the money

Bulb failed after 9 months
Bulb worked great until it failed during ninth month of use. Bulb was only turned on from dusk to dawn.Rather disappointing as difficult to replace due to fixture being 17 feet height on outside of building.

Plenty bright for area light
After bypassing the ballast and replacing the old mercury vapor lamp with this one, I am very happy with the light. There are a few reviews complaining about brightness I am not sure what the issue is. Check the wattage of the bulbs and you can compare. For 55 watts this one puts out a lot of light. If you want more, then higher wattage bulbs are out there.

One of 5 bulbs ordered lasted only 9 months.
Purchase 5 of these bulbs for a parking lot lights. A lot of work to install them on poles that are about 25 feet high. Expected that the lights would provide years of service. Already one has failed after nine months. Hope this is not a predicted of how long the others will last.
