These punch harder and higher than their price point suggests
1 year of use revisit at the bottom of the review.Original Review:I just ran through the first full charge on these earbuds. They sound better than the price point may lead one to believe. Bass is quite full compared to other wireless buds I've used with mids not very accurate and fairly decent highs. At this price point ($30-35) you really cannot have very high expectations. The multifunction buttons built into both earbuds do not feel very intuitive and take some force to actuate. I did not enjoy pausing, resuming or changing volume as every push resulted in pushing them deeper into my ear canal, which is not that much fun.The case is not particularly large and would fit in any pocket. The magnets inside the case will definitely keep the buds secure to their charging locations. There is no external case indication of charge status of the ear buds. You have to open the case and look at the LEDs on the buds themselves in order to find out whether they are done charging, or not. The two external LEDs on the case are solely to indicate case charging status. If you look very closely and focus on the lid of the case you will find out that it's partially transparent and the ear bud LEDs may be visible through the case lid, but not in all conditions. If you are outside in bright light you're unlikely to be able to see through the case lid, but inside and in dim lighting they should be visible without opening the lid. Case lid can be operated single handed if needed.I made a 1 hour long phone call with no mic quality complaints. I also spent another 3.5 hours playing music at volume between 35 and 50% for a total charge lasting 4.5 hours. There are a total of 4 sizes tips included in the box to cater to different sized ear canals. I highly suggest experimenting with the different sized tips to get the best fit before you start judging noise cancellation, volume or how securely they fit into your ears.Additionally when placing these buds into your ears, you should use a twisty motion for best fitment and also grasp the bud on its sides and avoid pushing the multi-function button.Only 1 microphone hole is visible on each bud, but both buds have a separate microphone allowing them to each be paired and used separately for phone calls or if you want to listen to music/podcasts/video with one bud only in mono mode. That requires a separate pairing setup compared to stereo pairing with a device.I will make it a point to use this set only going forward over the next few weeks in order to fully evaluate them and update the review with more insight and real world usage statistics, but so far so good. Definitely a good buy in this price range and they seem to deliver a lot of value at a very reasonable price point that is affordable to the masses.6 Month UpdateAs I approach the 6 month mark I decided to take a second look at these earbuds. They have been my daily drivers for the past 5+ months. They have been great for phone calls and listening to music. The battery life has stayed consistent throughout and I have yet to keep them in my ear long enough to completely drain the case to a point where earbuds and case are both dead. I am quite keen of the way they sound and I highly recommend purchasing these. They do not do very well when running, but for walking, commuting, desk, couch, cleaning around the house and other more mellow activities these earbuds certainly hold their own and remain an excellent value in the segment.1 Year revisit:I have been using these earbuds now for a full year. They still provide 8 hrs of continuous listening to podcasts/music and watching videos. These have far surpassed all of my expectations. By far my favorite feature remains the ability to pair one earbud with my phone and the other earbud with my work laptop. I have been working remotely for some weeks now, and this feature absolutely takes the crown as most useful for me. I am on conference calls nearly daily and these earbuds have performed great. These ear buds are likely not meant to be used for extensive calls because they have a single microphone in each earbud. They bring in noise into the call and muddle the voice a bit when in noisy environments. No issues at all if you're in a quiet room, but you should not expect noise cancelling performance in calls. If used with knowledge of this shortcoming, you will remain happy with them for a long time. I still stand behind these as the best value wireless earbuds I have ran into over the years.

Blown away with the quality and features.
I do not write reviews often, but these SoundPEATS absolutely convinced me to.A little background: I have owned half a dozen 'True Wireless Earbuds'. The most expensive/notable being the Jabra Elite 65t, so I will compare mainly to those. I have used AirPods as well, but the sound quality on those is an absolute joke, literally made me laugh when I first listened to those. I have amassed dozens of different pairs of earphones/headphones over the years. I am not an 'audiophile' but absolutely put sound quality first.Sound Quality: The sound quality of the SoundPEATS is absolutely stunning and better in (almost) every way that the Jabra 65t. For 1/6 of the price, I feel like a fool for not trying these first. Sure, the Jabra had an app for a slight customization of sound, but it was not really valuable. I was truly expecting a mediocre set of earbuds for the gym, but these are now my daily mobile listeners. I listen to mainly electronic and other bass-forward music, and these have blown me away for the size/price. The vocals are where these struggle the most, but in no way bad. The highs are crisp and do not 'crackle(?)' at high volumes like other TWS earbuds in this price range I have tried. Also on volume: there is plenty. I have to listen to most TWS earbuds at 80-90% (even the Jabras) to have what 50% of the these give me.Build Quality: Solid plastic with very tactile buttons that don't feel mushy. The charging/storage case is light years ahead of the Jabra's. The SoundPEATS case magnetically holds each earbud in and the lid is magnetically closed (unlike the Jabra's). Also cool is the lid of the case is semi-transparent so the charging light (red) of each earbud shines through, and will turn off when fully charged. Overall solid build. Haven't tried out the water proof-ness. Note: there is no way to control the volume from the earbuds themselves, a feature I did like with the Jabras.Fit: These do include 4 different sized ear tips. I found an excellent fit with the medium-large. I saved the eartips from all my previous headphones, so I was able to to find a better fit since these have a STANDARD(!) ear tip size. Everyone's ears are different, but these are rock solid in my head. I couldn't get them to fall out at all. No looseness either. The Jabra's did have a fantastic fit as well. Fit is the most important factor for getting the best sound quality out of any size or style of headphones. Also these nestle flush into the concha of the ear, people behind you cannot see that you have earbuds in, and they don't look like q-tips sticking out..Connectivity: Rock solid. No issues, even over a distance. Connects immediately upon removing form case. On par with AirPods with an Apple device. This is the area cheaper earphones generally struggle with the most. The Jabras connected immediately, but I had drop-outs often, even sitting right next to the phone. Not the case with these SoundPEATS. No aptX, but the AAC works great. NOTE: YOU CAN LISTEN TO EITHER SIDE IN MONO! You can have one device connected to the left with another device connected to the right, if you wanted to. A generally understated feature that helps with 1.) Multiple devices. 2.) Can switch from left to right while working to keep one ear free.Microphone (calls): Not Good. Sitting still in a quiet room, other people can hear me fine, but any outside noise like walking or wind wrecks the mic call quality. If you want True Wireless buds for calls, get the Jabra 65t. Those are fantastic in every way for calls. These are, well, not good. Better than most at this price range, but don't buy them for that. Gets the job done for a quick hello, but not an extended conversation.Overall: Of course a decent set of over-the-ears will sound better than almost any true wireless earbuds, but these are the absolute best for this price. Came in nice packaging. For the cost of a movie and popcorn, you can have these! Buy them. Fit them. Love them.

Good for the price
I purchased primarily for phone calls while I'm out and about so I value the microphone quality and ability to cancel noise on my end so they can hear me better. It does a decent job for ambient white noise, but picks up conversations of people around me, loud wind, subway sounds etc. The battery life is good, pairing was simple. I face some challenges getting the earphones in and out of the box quickly and firmly. I've dropped it a few times. I think it has to do with the positioning but for the price, no complaints. I used the older version trueair2 and I miss that design so much. Then used trueair3, but it stopped charging after a year. I'm hoping this lasts longer.
