This coffee has a good taste. I think it has a lot of caffeine though. Compared to Star bucks Sumatra, this is seems to be stronger and more caffeine. When it says 'Pods' on the description, I thought it was K Cup Pods, but they are little filter packs, so I rip them open and put the coffee in a K Cup reusable filter and it works great.

I was getting a bold roast pod from Red Diamond called City Steam I believe and for some time they didn't seem to have any on their web site nor were they sending my subscription. Never did they say they stopped producing it or even what the problem was, so I had to find another soft pod coffee. My Wife and I like a strong bold coffee and this Noir does the trick. I'm going to keep looking around, but I've ordered this three times now and don't see any reason to stop. If you like your coffee bold, give this a try.

Coming out of the package has a really nice aroma but unfortunately when brewed it had NO taste. We even experimented with putting less water through and doubling up with the same result.

The bag breaks apart too easy and you end up with a lot of grounds in the cup

Super. Mellow. Goes down easily!This coffee is very weak and for 6-8 oz cup, 2 bags are needed. Need to let it seep for about 5 minutes and gently squeze bags while in the cup.

So do what I did and get one of those little refillable reusable K-cup and dump this in there because it is some really good coffee. You still get the crema without the special machine these are suppose to be used in. I didn't do anything about this correctly and achieved crema.

Love the creama that comes with these pads and using the appropriate coffee maker, for me it’s an Intazza. Nice smooth taste but could be a bit stronger.
