First of all, Janna is an absolute sweetheart, and she REALLY knows how to make a scrub!! I bought this in vanilla and it smells absolutely delicious. I have patches of dry skin on my face that no amount of moisturizer can get rid of and many of the exfoliators out there are too harsh on my face and I wind up breaking out. Not to mention putting on foundation is usually a nightmare between the breakouts and rough patches. This ALL NATURAL product is a godsend. It feels wonderful. After I rinse it off and pat my face dry the patches of dryness are GONE. My face is left soft, moisturized and supple. Makeup goes on like a dream now. And that goes for the rest of my body as well. By using this before shaving I can say good bye to the ingrown hairs on my legs, which has ALWAYS been a problem for me. Janna has definitely changed the skin care game with her products, which I believe are well worth the price especially because not only are you getting this awesome scrub, but along with it you get a wooden spoon for mixing, an exfoliating bar of all natural ingredients and a perfect size loofah. Seriously, what more could a gal (or guy) ask for? How about a tub that doesn't leak all over the place before you get it? CHECK! All the containers are packaged so incredibly well there is absolutely no way it can leak throughout shipping. The lid is sealed with tape, over that is a tight rubber seal, then the tub is wrapped in cellophane. The tub is then placed into a box covered in cellophane. I couldn't be happier and as long as Janna keeps making them, I will keep buying her products and telling everyone I know about them!

I recently received my order for 2 jars of the pureSCRUBS Brown Sugar and Vanilla scrub. I'm using one jar and I gifted the other jar to my sister. We both get very dry skin - especially our hands. We've tried all sorts of soaps that claim to moisturize, but they left our skin dried out. It was time to try something else. I've tried scrubs from different companies. A few of those scrubs helped, somewhat, but none of them have worked as well as this one from pureSCRUBS - and the others contained ingredients I wasn't thrilled about using on my skin. The Brown Sugar Vanilla scrub gently exfoliates the dried skin from my hands, arms, legs, and feet and leaves them smooth and much softer. My sister was impressed with the results and is looking forward to using the jar I just gifted her. Not sure how to use an exfoliating scrub? Not to worry, Janna, the founder of pureSCRUBS, emails customers an excellent resource that tells all about each scrub they make, how best to use it, and answers frequently asked questions about using scrubs. It's very helpful, easy to use information. Another huge plus is the aroma! This scrub smells like the batter to homemade chocolate chip cookie dough! It's not too strong and not too soft of a scent. I get allergic reactions to strong perfume scents and this scrub causes me zero problems. My jar came with the bonus gifts of a small bar of pureSCRUBS oatmeal scrub soap and a small loofah scrubber, but the free wooden spoon was missing. I emailed Janna, the founder of pureSCRUBS, and she got back to me quickly. She's super easy to work with and is sending my wooden spoon right away - along with a surprise gift for the hassle. The customer service at pureSCRUBS is top notch! You truly can't go wrong ordering their products. I'll be looking into their coffee scrubs next and ordering myself some soon!

This is far and away The. Best. Scrub. EVER. It comes very thoughtfully packaged, with two leak-proof seals on the jar inside the classy looking box. Do pay attention to the "open carefully" instructions -- since it's an all-natural product without chemical emulsifiers, there is oil in the jar that separates out from the scrubby, sugar part. Hence the very cute wooden spoon that comes with, and is handy to mix up the stuff before you apply it. I am sensitive to fragrances, even natural ones, in high concentrations, so I got the unscented version -- and it's heavenly. Smells like melty brown sugar and nearly makes my mouth water. The business owner demonstrates great caring about her product and customers, and offers terrific service; she sends out thorough instructions in an email in addition to those packaged with the scrub (and its spoon, and the nice little loofah pad, and the small bar of excellent oatmeal soap). I've been using this stuff in the shower about twice a week, and it is a pure delight -- terrific self-care at a very reasonable price. And WOW does it leave my skin, which tends to be very dry, smooth and baby-soft. LOVE this stuff. Don't even hesitate; just buy it.

I will have to say that I have left reviews in the past but NOTHING and I mean NOTHING has impressed me like this product. The seller, the packaging, the special care that the seller provides, the scent of the scrub, the scope that they include, along with complimentary soap...everything is top notch. I am not easily impressed, but it's obvious that the seller cares about her product and that she put her heart into this. The fact that the ingredients aren't harmful and everything is natural is fantastic. Yet, it smells so good. As soon as I put it on, I felt instantly moisturized. I forgot...they add a small loofa sponge too! She even provides tips for you to best utilize your scrub. I could go on and on and it's just been one day! I hope that this seller is supported by everyone because she deserves it. If you're wondering if I know her personally, no, I don't. But I know character when I see it. She includes a personal message with her scrub and you can tell that she is a quality human being. I challenge all to try and see if they can resist ordering another jar. I know she has a customer for life with me. Customer service with quality is a rarity, and this seller offers both. Try it, you won't regret it.

You can tell that this company really cares about customer satisfaction! From the e-mailed tip sheet to the quality of the packaging and products, it’s worth the money! The included loofah is of nice quality. My skin feels soft and well nourished after using the scrub. The brown sugar scrub also smells AMAZING! It smells like warm pancakes with syrup :). The included travel size soap also is a nice touch. I can see the soap being great for anyone who has sensitive skin and needs a mild soap for use. The soap does have small pieces of oatmeal to help exfoliate which is nice. The only thing that made me not rate this as 5 stars is that the product starts separating almost immediately after you have mixed it well with the provided spoon. It’s an all natural product, so I’m not surprised by this but it was still a little time consuming to have to keep mixing the scrub prior to applying it.

First time exfoliating so not a lot of experience, but I can say this product did an amazing job. I'm a triathlete so I shave my whole body. After months of struggling with getting a close shave and bumps I decided to try this. I exfoliated my whole body in the shower than shaved. It was the closest smoothest shave I've had in years, and it took literally half the time because it was so effective and I didn't have to keep going over the same spots. I got out of the shower super moisturized. I love the smell it reminds me of something in my childhood just can't put my finger on it. I got the vanilla brown sugar scrub.

Let me start by saying that I never leave reviews but I absolutely have to recognize this company for such an outstanding product. I have severe eczema and almost anything irritates my skin. I never got the pleasure of using all of the fun and fruity scented bath scrubs and washes. Anytime I took a shower no matter the exfoliant, my skin would still feel rough. If you battle with eczema or dry skin than you know most products that we use don’t smell fresh, they smell like medication and I did not wanna be cuddled up with my significant other smelling like a bottle of medicated ointment or soap lol. I decided to be on a mission to find an exfoliant that does the job while smelling good and has no fragrance added. I did quickly find multiple scrubs with no scent added but the scent that they had wasn’t strong enough to give you that fresh “smelling” feel. They also weren’t removing the dead skin as expected. This product was literally the last option before a break down. I took a chance and not only is the price reasonable, the product comes extremely fast and is beautifully packaged. This scrub left my skin feeling so soft that I called my mother crying tears of joy. It has been a long journey but this scrub will change my life for the better. I get out of the shower feeling soft and feminine and the smell is divine. You have a life long customer. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

- I can't recall the last time I wrote a review, for anything. This product is special. - packaging was lovely and very secure - nothing could possibly leak - feels like the product was specially made for me - the extras (spoon, loofah, wee soap) were also presented fabulously and are great quality - all that is nice, but it's the product that's really important, right? - and the product is incredible. The aroma, the texture. - While this may be slightly more than other brands, this has a larger volume; that combined with the USA made, cruelty free, extras make it well worth it. - now that I have the whole kit, it'd be great if the tub of product was available for a reduced price without the spoon and loofah - regardless of whether that option becomes available, I'm now a loyal customer. Well done.
