So, if you are looking for something a little loose fitting size up. My son is 8 wearing a size 3 (wider foot) and the socks fit him just under his ankle. Perfect for a no show look.

These socks are true to size and exactly the style I was hoping they would be. Bought them for our 8 year old for basketball, needed a lower sock and these do the job, while still covering his ankle. The material quality is a bit thinner that I expected but he says he likes them and they will do the job. They seem to have a lot of strech and are easy to get on to his foot.
