These magnets are adorable and my child loves them! They are made of a thin wood and could break easily if stepped on. They are bigger than I originally thought but the size is perfect. These are so much fun for my toddler!

I purchased this magnet set for my son who at the time was just shy of 1 year old. He has had an adoration of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so when it was time for him to start standing on his own, I found these magnets as a good educational device to have on the fridge. Now 6 months later, he still loves going over to the fridge to find these characters and pull them off, even better is that is starting to name them. To me, these magnets helped with both dexterity and word association.The packaging was typical Melissa and Doug (wooden box) and all of the magnets were visible through the top. They are made of durable wood with the image on the front and regular magnet on the back. They vary in size, so as he was smaller, I hid the smallest of the magnets out of his reach higher up on the fridge, while many of the magnets were oversized and better for his age lower to the ground. They have stood up to time, being that since we have been using them, he has plucked them off the fridge, bit and chewed all over them, beat them off the fridge and floor, and they are still holding their shape and design. No bitemarks, no pealed decals or anything from the front. I trust Melissa and Doug products and this lives up to their standards.I would recommend this for anyone with little ones who love to play with magnets as a way to introduce them to characters and names. You'll love watching them walk over to fridge picking one off and bringing it back to you time and time again. Great product!

Perfect magnets for the fridge for my 15 month old to play with while I'm in the kitchen cooking. I really like it that they are chunky and the magnet is strong enough to stick well but still easy for a tiny fingers to pull off of the surface. Comes in a nice, good quality, wooden box with a plastic lid for storage. Very cute

Bought these wood refrigerator magnets for my 15 months old great granddaughter. She seemed to really enjoy playing with them. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because there are duplicate character but dressed differently. They should of had all kinds of different Disney characters for there are many.
