The key is great, however, I am a bit confused, from other reviews I understood that the key can be also programmed to start the car, but, when I took the key to the programmer, we found out that the transponder in the key on the motherboard was missing. Had to purchase a transponder and mount it on the mother board. As seen on the picture upper left corner is where the transponder should be. Cost me almost 100 usd to purchase and mount and program the key. It took them 2 hours to program all the features. They had issues trying to match the transponder with the original key. H3 HUMMER 2008.

Upon receipt, I took the fobs to local locksmith with a top tier reputation for this type of work (pairing/programming new fobs). He validated the signal consistency from the fob but after several different attempts with various hardware (to ensure it wasn't an equipment issue on his end) he was unable to get the vehicle to recognize the fob's signal. I requested a refund through amazon and sent off the package back to the seller (June 2nd). Package receipt was confirmed by tracking June 8th. I'm still awaiting the refund.

Took it to a locksmith where they tried multiple times but ultimately it didn’t work. Tolerances in the key are much sloppier than an OEM key.

For the price it's honestly quite a steal! I had a mobile locksmith come cut and program the key. He had it done in like 15 minutes. I love the new key! It looks great and works very well. Well worth the buy!

Worked without issue. When you get it, call the gm dealer and make sure the can laser cut before going and wasting your own time.

The media could not be loaded.  Key works wonderful! Had my local locksmith program and cut the key and it works so much better than the original key and clicker
