One of the things I needed in the stand is one that was versatile can been a lot of different ways to get up and get that shadow off my chin or as a backlight of my green screen.Very inexpensive way to do this. The thing gets super tall to put light behind you, for here light, gets fairly low to be a backlight or front light to take away shadows. Don't get me wrong this is just the stand for life. I did a review recently on the light that I use on this. This also is a great thing to hold your phone to do YouTube or Facebook live broadcast. First of all, this is exactly what I needed. Up until now I had a similar "clamp on" style holder for my iPhone XS Max for above my bed. It worked fine, but I wanted something a bit more versatile. And this floor stand is it.There is very little assembly needed, and what is needed is both obvious and simple.I have it positioned next to my bed and it's very stable. The ease at which it moves and adjusts is wonderful.The ONLY issue I have is with the style of and tension on the actual piece (clamp) that holds the iPhone. It sticks in the shut position and is difficult to open and then insert the phone into. But once it's in, the iPhone isn't going anywhere. Getting the phone out is best done by standing behind the mechanism and opening it with two hands which allows the iPhone to fall to the bed.I guess the issue is...you need 3 hands to operate this thing. Two to open and hold it open while the 3rd hand inserts the iPhone.My solution...find a different clamp for it. And that's what I'm going to do today. I'm pretty sure this default clamp can be interchanged with a different style.

seems like good quality materials but somehow when I put my phone in the holder it keeps sliding back into the holster and part of this stand appears on a selfie video. I have a Samsung s10 at the moment and I thought it was the case, but even if I take of the case and reposition, phone still keeps sliding back in the holster. the phones doesn't fall off just slides back to the farthest part of the holster. good height. maybe it will work better for your device

I like the idea of it.After one use, the bendable arm attached with the screw came off. I reattached it, but it came off a few days later - without having been used. It works it way off every several days.The three-leg base I put flat on the floor. However, one of the legs doesn’t stay in place, raising up, so it wobbles.The expandable phone holder part was a struggle to pull out the first time. I didn’t think it did so double-checked the description. I had to pry and pull so hard I was concerned I would break it. It slides much easier, now.I didn’t get it set up until near the end of the 30-day return period so didn’t realize the problems were chronic in time. Otherwise I would have sent it back for a replacement, hoping it was just a defective one.

Product is sturdy with a phone. Material doesn’t feel too cheap but heavier tablet may bend the arm more than intended. Holder doesn’t accommodate camera on my Note 8 or S10 it gets blocked partially when mounted. It does accommodate my I-Phone 8 plus nicely. But the Tripod is really meant for viewing your device as opposed to using it to record or take pictures so just keep that in mind. Over all pretty nice for the price. The stand is easy to adjust.

I am known for using my selfie stick when I am hosting events and doing updates for my social media, but there is nothing like giving new angles and mixing things up.I was looking for something that I could operate myself that allowed me to get different perspectives and use without holding it. This floor stand phone holder does the job. It allows me to be able to take full-length pics and vids with really no effect. I'm about to adjust it as I need it, and I like that it travels easily. Price is normally something I look at a lot when it comes to new additions to my equipment. This is really affordable and something that doesn't break the bank.If you need something that will help you take more unique pictures and free up your hands when watching videos then this is perfect.

Running in place for an hour or more is not fun. Nope not one bit. God thing we have all this fancy tech.... bad thing is treadmills only give you a small shelf to rest that tech on. Some of those shelves are just a flat surface that offer no protection from your device falling down (I'm looking at you Planet Fitness treadmills). Some, like my own, have a bit of a lip to secure my phone from falling. But now I have an obstructed view of my screen. Enter this here phone tripod. I can get a clear view of my full screen, and use all the functions without having to lift up the phone to skip those pesky roll ads on YouTube. AND! The goose neck also swivels so I can turn it to the side of the treadmill to to some circuit trainings as well. This was a win win for me! (Don't judge my basemsent... It is a work out space, workshop, and bar)
