Minelab Equinox 800 Multi-IQ Underwater Metal Detector & Pro-Find 15 Pinpointer

I bought a couple Garrett metal detectors and they worked good for what I was doing. But when I got the equinox 800 it showed all the things the Garrett's were not picking up like rings and silver coins. I attached pics of what the Garrett's had missed and what the equinox picked up. If I had known I would of bought the equinox 800 first and not had gotten the garrett at all. All I can say about this is awesome awesome for the money...

I love my Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector, I have found things just in my backyard that my other detector has missed, this is a solid metal detector. If I had to say anything negative about the Minelab Equinox 800, it would barely register, the only flaw that it has is so minimal, but all the same, the only negative thing I have about it is, there can be a bit of a learning curve when going into the advanced features, but nothing that I have any issues about. Great detector, I would recommend the Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector to anybody, that is interested in starting metal detecting as a hobby. This metal detector is super light compared to others I own. Minelab stands for quality and their customer service is top of the line, they stand behind their products.

It works great and easy to use and charge. A relaxing hobby.

It took a little while to get the hang of the equinox, but I am now settled in and am having great luck. Found first ring last week.

Love the detector but pin pointer is par at best. Garret pro pointer is much better.

I should have researched the 15 but relied on the fact that it is a Minelab product which was a bad move. Left my carrot home today and took the 15, big mistake. I has no range at all, you literally have to be touching the target for it to respond and a lot of good that is. I consider it absolutely worthless. I can't in good conscience sell it and would feel stupid even giving it to someone. will never understand how a reputable company like Minelab would even release a product this worthless. don't pay extra for it, order one separately after you research it.

Very versatile,have owned one for a cpl years now and bought this as a backup I've never had any issues with minelab in general

I really like this metal detector, I use it for around the yard, at the park, and at the stream. The water proof feature is great. The wireless headphones work great, the sound is amazing and it syncs up nicely. I have recommended this to other people and will keep recommending it.

i received Minelab Equinox 800 today, shipping was quick, correspondence was smooth, everything went well. Now waiting for spring or warmer weather to try it out. Thanks Forest City Metal Detectors.

While the Nox 800 is an exceptional machine the pin pointer minelab find 15 is it's weak point. Save yourself the extra money and purchase the unit without the kit. The pin pointer takes more then 30 seconds to activate and only reaches 3" maybe....sound only.

Delivered in perfect condition. Looking forward to learning how to use it.
