Q: How often does the fencing need restaining

I try and recoat it about every year, especially if it gets a lot of sun. It goes on quite quickly. .

Q: My cabin has had three coats of "shed paint" over the past 8 years, will this product do the job, or will the base coats prevent waterproofing.

My shed had 2 coats of oil bases preserver on it only 6 months before applying Timbershield and it stained well but it could depend on the type of other product used whether it works or not. Personally I would give it a try 5 ltr goes a long way

AFTER " PAINTING OUT " AS MUCH PRESERVATIVE FROM THE BRUSH OR ROLLER AS POSSIBLE, THEN USE A TABLE SPOON OF WASHING UP LIQUID, WORKING IT INTO THE IMPLEMENT THOROUGHLY AND THEN RINSE WITH WARM WATER. DRY ON KITCHEN TOWEL, DRY GENTLY AND YOU'LL BE READY TO GO AGAIN NEXT TIME WITHOUT NEEDING TO BUY BRUSHES / ROLLERS !

Q: I have a dark oak finish will this stain to a light oak

Hello, no it won't. Our product is a stain so it will go over the top of an existing colour and potentially make it darker. For a lighter finish you would need to buy a paint to mask the dark oak colour.
