Micron 1 TB 2.5-Inch 1100 Internal Solid State Drive - Black

Had an old iMac that I wanted to do a 5400 to SSD swap but didn't want to drop a bunch of $$$ since I don't use the machine often. So, I picked up a certified refurb and an OWC iMac seal kit. Works great so far and did the swap for just over 1/2 the price OWC wanted for a complete kit. Now the iMac is actually usable.

I bought this on a black friday deal, the price was right, and it's still running well ( mind you it's only been about two months though).Also, this is considered to be a cheap ssd, unlike your samsung 8xx evo or pro drives for example, so don't expect 550MB read and writes...more like 485 to 500 reads and 400+ writes..which is still plenty for a sata gen 3 ssd.Cheers

The SSD drive I purchased was an Amazon Warehouse item, so it was a return/open box item. It arrived in perfect shape and works as new. I installed it in my old laptop and it has increased the speed greatly. I love my laptop again.
