brilliant family game me and my brother love playing this

Very funny and easy to play game

Bought it for my 10 year old for Christmas, even though amazon says it for aged 12 and above. We had few fun evenings playing this game, it's a race around the board guessing whether tales of stupid deaths are true or false. Some of the tales are scary, others entertaining, but after playing it few times we've lost interest in the game itself. I would say will be playing again but not in a while. Delivery time was great, was delivered earlier than expected

Fab and funny game

It's a good game. It kept us entertained on Xmas day. I'm a bit useless at guessing so the game was over too soon but we made our own rules up and it lasted way longer that way 😊

Great game

We love Stupid Deaths on Horrible Histories. This has many of the same deaths in it. 2 problems that I can see: 1) Slightly cheaply made - nowhere for all the cards to go - they just have to sit in a pile or rattle around in the box. They could do with a neat little box like in Pictionary or Articulate or Trivial Pursuits etc. They were missing the necessary TRUE/FALSE cards - thought the game came sealed in plastic. We had to make our own! At Xmas! Bit rubbish. 2) Once you hear whether something is true or not, depending on your memory, you will find it easier next time you play that card. Probably about 6-10 games worth before you start repeating the cards. Like the idea and its essentially well designed. Just needed some more work on presentation and quality control.

An excellent gift for the board game lover who has them all.

We took this game with us when we went on vacation and once the nieces and nephews saw it, they could not wait to play it! It was fun for all of us, ages ranged from 9 to 60+ years of age. We gasped in surprise, we cringed, we laughed, we made our best guesses, and enjoyed ourselves as several hours slipped by. Surprisingly, everyone wanted to play it again the next day so I'd say the game is a success with our family. March 2025 Edited to add - We are going to visit the family again and we have been specifically asked by siblings, the nieces and nephews to please bring this game with us as they want to have another game night with us and play it again!

Family enjoys playing. Learning some fun facts

The pure giggling that came out of this game. You learn a lot and get to think (man I hope its not me) My sister and I did make up some "two player" rules in case you can't get a party of three. Draw a card (keep the answer hidden) - both guess true or false - and if we're both right you both move two spaces, if we are both wrong - death moves two. And if its fifty fifty- winner moves one - loser does not - and death moves one. It is challenging enough to keep death on your heels. All in all - fun game!
