Definitely gets the saltwater tank clean

I first found this on Ozzie Albies' (Atlanta Braves, second baseman) aquarium site. He demonstrated how easy it was to use. Ozzie has several monster tanks. I bought it and found how easy it was to clean the face of my 118-gallon aquarium. The entire face of the tank was clean in only a couple of minutes. (I've pretty much eliminated mineral deposits, so thankfully, that is not something I have to clean.)

The product is solid and the blade is not bent. Easy to replace and use. No issues.

As a saltwater aquarium hobbyist, the Flipper magnet cleaner was probably one of the best purchases that I've made for my reef. These blades are perfect replacements for the original blade that comes with the Flipper cleaner. I don't leave the cleaner in the water full-time, only putting it in the tank every week or so to clean the glass. I can say that I never clean or dry off these blades after using them, and have never had one get any rust spots, so I believe leaving it in the tank full-time would be just fine. Pros: - Two blades should last a good while, at least several months - They definitely do the best job at cleaning the glass... better than any other magnet I've used - These blades have never scratched the glass in my tank Cons: - Occasionally, when plowing through heavy algae on the glass, some algae can get stuck between the blade and the glass, reducing the performance of the blade (common issue with any cleaner) - Honestly can't think of anything else... The Flipper cleaner is great and these replacement blades are made just as well as the one included with the cleaner. I would definitely recommend these to anybody looking for blade replacements.

Let me start by saying I normally never right reviews. After using this product I must say its amazing! I been in the saltwater hobby for almost 13 years now and have had a lot of tanks! I've use mag floats the original magnet cleaner, and the pirranna algae scraper which is my current one. I'm very picky and run bare bottom tanks to avoid scratches... My aquarium also cost about $6000 it's a 560 gallon from Miricles aquariums. I am very careful not to scratch the glass. Needles to say tank got out of hand with alge cause it's summer and I've been doing outdoor activities. My pirranna couldn't scrape the alge no matter how many passes I made with the magnet, I love the pirranna too for film alge. However if you have tough Alge the flipper is the cleaner for u! I only used the scraper side and it was amazing!

Fit my Flipper perfectly. I was concerned they would be hard to replace, but I found out there was no need for concern. They were very easy to switch out and my flipper works like new now! I am so glad the company made this as a replaceable item as the original scraper carries a hefty price tag (as do all decent magnetic aquarium scrapers) My fish love it when I go along the bottom edge and stir up the little bristle worms. The have a feast and I get rid of gunk growing on the glass.

Great product. The magnet is very, and I do mean very strong and should only be used on tanks with thick glass else you will not be able to even move it on the glass. It does a good job of cleaning all types of algae, but I still haven’t really got the hang of the flipping action to either use the scrub pad or blade. During the flip I have to make sure no fish are around as it sometimes goes wrong and the inside scrapper can start floating away and when it detects the outer it can slam back onto the glass. Would definitely recommend

Expensive in my opinion for what they are but it is what it is and they do the job.
