A Brilliant Monitor
This monitor from ROG does not disappoint. Here's the categoriesEase of Assembly and set upThis monitor is very easy to Assemble with the stand or a Vesa mount (I have tried both for the sake of this review. I do permanently use vesa mount for my wall). It's easy, instructions are straight forward and the overall build quality is brilliant. The same goes for plugging in the cables to set this monitor up, its very simple and I like that this monitor has a cable cover to help organise and protect your cables if you're using multiple HDMI, display port, USB's etc.Screen qualityThis monitors screen quality is insane. Absolutely brilliant. I first tested watching YouTube on my PC and playing a few games. The display is bright with vivid colours and crisp detail. The HDR is also very good allowing customised presets for Gaming and Cinema (watching films) which I believe is a really nice feature as it just improves the experience of this monitor compared to others.I then swapped to my PlayStation 5 and was again left amazed by the amazing quality this monitor offers, games look fabulous on this monitor and the fact it supports VRR is a whole other bonus in itself. For me, this monitor is brilliant as my PC runs an RTX 3070 which can only do 1440p while the PS5 is of course capable of 8K. This monitor means I get pristine graphics at 1440p regardless of which device I'm using meaning I didn't have go compromise quality because of my PC.Other detailsThis monitor comes very well packaged, included with the monitor is1x ROG Branded HDMI Cable1x ROG Branded DP Cable1x ROG Branded USB Hub CableBoth UK and European power suppliesThese cables are extremely high quality and ensure you're getting the best out of this monitor. Another nice touch I like is these cables come packaged in a really nice small netted Zip bag with the ROG logo on it which can be re used to store whatever you want. I have an ROG Backpack I use for work so I'm going to use this netted bag to store my adapters and SD cards within my backpack. I find this little addition a nice touch and I'm very happy with it.Final Comments & summaryOverall, I love this monitor. Yes, it's very expensive, but for that higher price you're getting a monitor that is feature packed, very high quality and absolutely the best of its class in the 1440p range. Republic Of Gamers products are well known for their high quality, this monitor is no different. Not only is it great for Gaming and movies, it's color accuracy means editing and content Creation on this monitor is also very good making it a fabulous all rounder for people who work and play. There are many reviews on here that mention Back-light bleed, yes this is present on this monitor. Is it a massive issue making it unusable? I do not personally think so. Its not noticeable when in general use (Ie. Browsing, gaming, etc) the only time I notice it when the screen is completely pitch black on YouTube. If you do decide to purchase this monitor, I'd like to think you won't be disappointed. ROG have once again made a great product and while very expensive compared to its competitors, it is certainly worth the extra investment.(Also make sure to make an ROG Elite Member account and register the products serial number to earn points to exchange for rewards on the ROG website. This also registers the warranty at the same time)

Great monitor
Really nice monitor I don’t think I can fault it, I’m not a fan of the stand but otherwise it runs flawlessly. Great refresh rates and colors

Incredible value but some issues
The features you get with this monitor are very good for the price. Excellent sRGB accuracy, high refresh rate, variable overdrive so motion is responsive and looks great even while using freesync/gsync in games, and it's 1440p.The build quality is solid with hard plastics and not many unnecessary flourishes or RGB lighting. A couple of minor features that don't matter like a phone holder in the base and a low watt USB C port which will only matter to a small number of people. Before I get to complaints I'll finish off this review here but saying it works very well and is a good price. If you want better you've got to go OLED (VA panels have their own issues that I think make it not worth the middle ground).I do have a couple of issues though. One is major and prompted me to return my first order. Only highlighting these so much incase any of these are something that would be a dealbreaker for you.- IPS backlight. You expect bleed with these kinds of screens but the issue I have had with both of the panels I bought is the bottom of the screen being significantly dimmer than the top. Wouldn't be a huge issue except the taskbar is at the bottom, and the white text is a bit harder to read. Doesn't affect games at all but if you use PC desktops for work and play it might be annoying.- Coil whine. Whenever you turn it off/on, change settings on the monitor itself, or it changes resolution there is high pitched coil whine. Both units had it so it might just be inevitable for this model. Doesn't whine at all during use or while it's off so it's not a big complaint.- HDR support is in name only. It's 50 nits brighter than the default. In my experience what this translates to is a washed out look for mostly dark games, but a slightly better look for bright games as it's able to push the brightness of the brighter elements. It's an IPS panel so it is extremely limited in what benefit you'll get from it so beware any screen that says "HDR 400". OLED is going to give you what you need but those are 3-5 times the price of this monitor.- Grainy coating. A matte anti glare coating is applied to the panel and is very standard for IPS panels like this. Some people have said it is excessively grainy meaning solid white background look bad. I don't notice it too much but I have medical issues with my eyes so I don't notice it as much. It isn't really much different from other budget IPS displays though so bare that in mind.- Height adjustment is quite low even at max height. Doesn't give much flexibility.I didn't have the colour accuracy and temp issues that another reviewer had but each unit can vary in quality. Some have complained about the consistency of ASUS QA.
