I've had this product for some time now, and it works just as well as the first day! Well worth the money!

This was super easy to use and I love the different tools that come with it. I had previously ordered a more simple tool, but it was weak and did not work for certain coconuts. So far, this one has worked for everything.

Just got a young coconut to test this out and it works great! But the yellow mallet does not seem like rubber as stated in product description … seems like plastic and it’s loud so ended up getting my own real rubber mallet at Ace hardware… Took the coconut outside and it was fun smashing it open. Haven’t had fresh coconut in years since they’re so hard to open so I’m glad I got this tool!! Will start eating more fresh coconuts now!

I grew up where people drink coconut water from the shell. And they use the big chopped knife to open the coconut. For me it not worth my finger to use that knife. However, when I saw this product, I jumped in and bought it right away. It works great and boom! I can open coconut in 1 min and without gambling my finger!

So happy to discover this coconut opener after my beloved original Coco Jack broke and found out that they were no longer in business.I tried one other brand through amazon that looked similar to this one but didn’t work and had to return it.Really happy with this one, it only takes a couple strikes to open it. I use it in young Thai coconuts only.

This is our second coconut opener. The plastic on the first one started to chip/peel off after about a year of usage so every time I would hammer coconuts open, the plastic bits would start falling off which was annoying because it I had to fish it out of the coconut.

On a positive note: the tool that is hammered into the coconut; performs well.On the flipside: the mallet itself, is very poorly made!!! Chips of the yellow plastic were flying in the air and into the top of the coconut and it's completely completely dented. A pice of garbage. The scraper tool, used to take the flesh out of the coconut is USELESS! As soon as you start to scrape the soft flesh out of the coconut, the tool bends on both outer sides and gets stuck. A stainless steel spoon works 100 times better. It would have been nice to have it come out in spiraled strips, but it simply does NOT work!!! This company should sell the 1 tool (out of the 3) that actually works, separately.
