Rubbermaid 21-Cup Modular Dry Food Storage Zylar Container,Clear

I hate having an unorganized pantry. I hate having my food scattered everywhere and having my dry good stale. I needed to purchase containers to maintain freshness. I went ahead and purchase these Rubbermaid containers. These containers are excellent at keeping my food safe and fresh. I love how generous each container size is.. The lids pop off easy, but yet they seal nice and tight to prevent any air from entering. I love these containers and the fact that they are nice and clear. I can easily place my chalk labels on them and label them easily. I love my Rubbermaid containers. This is an excellent modular set. The set is also stackable. My pantry has just gotten a bit more organized thanks to these containers. I highly recommend these containers if you are looking to organize neatly.

How often does a person have the chance to engage in the thought of getting an item with Zylar in it. For me it started out as simply a way to not have mice chew threw my chocolate morsels -- again! Okay, that's a problem fairly easily solved with Amazon search: dry food storage, and pressing add to cart on the the first entry.Hence my return to the first question. Get a food storage item or get a product with zylar in it. This is a nobrainer. I ordered it.Now, in terms of functionality, it's really, really good. The Zylarians clearly know what they're doing. I ordered a second set. I ordered three more sets (two for a friend who just loved them). My only suggestion is that they come in a package of eight for a discounted price. That would be the best.

Just what I needed. I also have the less expensive version, Rubbermaid 21-Cup Dry Food Container, and the major differences are:- The Zylar containers are clear, not cloudy.- The Zylar containers are a "smidge" taller - approx. 1/8th of an inch or so, which made the fit on my shelves a bit snugger but still doable.- The Zylar covers not only have see through panels, their seal seems thicker than the regular kind - so they're a bit harder to put on, but seem more secure (I haven't tested them out with water though).Otherwise, in case it's helpful, here are the suggested uses from the side of the box:- 21 cup fits 5 lbs flour.- 16 cup fits 5 lbs sugar.- 10 cup fits 3 lbs rice.- 5 cup fits 12 oz coffee.

I bought the 16-cup model because some of the reviews said "perfect for 3d printer filament." Well, I guess that depends on brand. The filament I use (made by Overture) is on 8" spools which DO NOT fit in this container with the cover on. I returned them and got the 21-cup which works perfect for the filament spools. They are narrow and stack nicely.Otherwise, they seem like descent typical food storage containers.

I absolutely love these containers. They work great for pantry goods & are airtight and odor resistance which is what I needed. I like that they are clear plastic so I can easily see the contents inside. They are stackable & have a narrow footprint so they don't take up much space in the pantry. I have 4 of them. They are dishwasher safe which I prefer to make sure clean & sanitize them easily!! I will be getting more as needed. Just a friendly FYI: the lids on these containers fit nice & snug so make sure you push on all 4 corners tightly to ensure an airtight seal.

I love these! I bought them for my new kitchen. I hate to admit, I was still using old Tupperware. These stack well in my drawers and have nice tight fitting lids. The lids go on and come off very easily, but when in place make a great seal. I used a sharpie and wrote on the lids what I have stored in them. Plus there is room in them to leave a measuring cup. I would definitely recommend this product. The product seems to be built really well and is solid, not like some of the cheaper storage containers you can buy. I will be buying more of these for food storage.

I use this for a 5 lb bag of mozzerella cheese bought in bulk. Fits it well, takes up narrow space in fridge. Height is a little taller than my milk jugs. Rubber around lid edge ensures good seal and seems sturdy despite being cold all the time. (I cracked a previous container when I tapped it on the counter to loosen cheese stuck in corner. This one seems like it wouldn't do that. Although I'm not planning to test it.)Also bought 2 half sized ones (10 cup) for cheddar so I can freeze half until the first 2.5 lbs is used up. I might have preferred that same style in place of this so I don't have to stick most of my forearm into this when it's nearly empty.

These are great products - I just wish the open set was more easily available on Amazon and I didn't have to buy multiples of this pack!Moving to uniform dry storage containers in my pantry was an incredible decision - I feel like I can finally find things again! FYI - these containers have super high quality lids (good, thick silicone). You can often find identically sized containers at your local grocery store (also Rubbermaid modular canisters), but they frequently have lower quality plastic lids. Not a big deal for some food items, but good to be aware of regardless
