Sirius SUPV1 Universal Dock and Play Vehicle Kit

The kit is OEM, and on second attempt ordering through Audiovideodirect I got it new (they sent a refurbished, incomplete kit the first time I ordered - both were "fulfilled by Amazon"). The kit itself is exactly what it says it is - all of the docking equipment necessary to set up your vehicle for use with a Sirius radio.My radio is the Sportster 4, and while this kit is intended for use with this unit and everything fits fine, don't expect that the included FM extender antenna is going to solve the very weak FM transmitter signal problem that the Sportster 4 is known for. I mounted my extender antenna on my windshield on the passenger side, right next to my truck's antenna. It is USELESS.If you are buying this kit for a second vehicle, be advised that you will probably need to buy either the FM Direct adaptor or have an audio-in plug on that car's internal radio.

Ordered from Amazon, sold by TSS-Radio. Item wasn't brand new in box like advertised. Instead it was all packed in little baggies with the TSS Radio logo on it. Absolutely NO instructions at all. I was able to figure out most of it, but had to look online for more information. Came with a different kind of mount or something with clips. Unclear what this is. Overall not happy with the purchase, the packaging, and the item not arriving in the box or even with a box.If I ever need another one, I'll avoid TSS Radio.

This is a very straight forward, easy to install option, for additional vehicles. Take your doc and play anywhere you want. I bought my wife the sat rad kit, for her car. Then, we needed one for the truck when we go camping, and there are no stations while traveling across the highways.I would recommend this, and plan on getting one for the home, back deck, and one for the boat this summer! This lets you enjoy your sat rad (satellite radio) anywhere you want, with just one subscription fee.

We bought my wife a Mini Cooper. She listens to recorded books, so radio is not very important to her. But when we travel, we listen to Sirius Radio. ot wanting to subscribe to a 2nd radio, i bought the car kit, so i could move my radio into her mini occasionally.It was too easy. And i did not have to mount the antenna outside the car; just lay it on the dash. Operfect for my needs, with minimal cost.

Very thing tested good through radio and speaker system/ But Sirius dose not provide Radio service but here in Alaska. Was told I could recive throught Internet over Computer, Do have Lifetime service Subscription so that might happen later as I try to organize monies to my move up here. Never was aware of job offer up here, could not turn dowm

I was happy to receive the product rather quickly, but my enthusiasm was short lived. The antenna connection to the dock became loose and would not function within a month of use. I called Sirius and they advised me to buy another one. Since this was my 4th or 5th docking station, and they are about $50 a piece, I cancelled my Sirius subscription. I will wait to see if and when Sirius can afford to make better plug and play kits. I'll miss Howard.

This universal dock is the perfect addition to your car stereo. It's easy to install and provides access to clear sirius radio directly into your car sound system. I would highly suggest the addition of the FM Modulator (not included in this kit) to have perfect reception. However this kit gives you everything you need to get your sirius radio into your car.

Easy to custom install. The downside is the cables go in the back instead of the side requiring more room if you are going to trick out your console or other area rather than the intended rig.
