Best choice
This was a high quality battery switch that allows for a variety of mounting options that protect the contacts from shorting. I used it for an external disconnect. I purchased an extra key that fits on a normal key ring in case a practical joker decides to disable my vehicle. I do wish it came with a couple of mounting screws so I didn't need to stop and head to the hardware store.

Solid Product
Like all Blue Seas products well built. This is great for campers and boats where the disconnect is accessible from the outside. It deters the troublemakers.

Switch works good. I have ordered my 2nd replacement for key that just broke.
Bought this about 3 years ago for my solar rv. Switch has worked without a problem but I have ordered my 2nd replacement for broken key. I didn't force the key or put a lot of pressure they just broke. Would throw the switch away and replace it but it would be a lot of work. I think I will try to beef up the new one with some JB weld or Structural epoxy before I use it.

Does the job but parts omitted.
Just received. First impression is the Key is quite small, and there are no bolts included to hold it together. A paper with it says another label is available free of charge, so why not include it in the package?

Don't turn switch until it's installed!
Excellent. Be careful turning the switch before it's installed- the panel-mount adapter is susceptible to breaking until the screws reinforce it.

De los mejores productos, tenemos un switch en 3 diferentes vehículos off road, nos funciona muy bien, ya que sus conectores de acero inoxidable y su capacidad de AMP es muy alta, aparte de ser resistentes al agua son resistentes al polvo. Lo único malo es que aquí en Amazon los costos de llavez extras y perillas son mas elevados, 3 dlls en Estados Unidos y aquí en esta misma pagina son 9 dlls. (Amazon México)

used to disconnect all power from marine batteries to boat electrical system providing a level of security. Switch requires the use of a key. Unit comes with only one key so don't misplace it. Easily attaches with screws. When assembled, unit hides wire connection.
