Riedell Boosts are great skates. I purchased them as my first pair of skates I’ve owned because I just got tired of rentals. They are easy to adjust, I use the wheels they came with for practice in the house and garage. I Will need to upgrade to something harder (101 or higher) for rink skating. An amazing starter skate.

Skates are excellent quality. Riedell is always a good brand for that. The only thing I’ll give a heads up to is the sizing. The description states single sizes and also states “for men and women”. I ordered my normal size (women’s) 9 but when they arrived they were huge! I ordered another pair in size 8. Still too big so finally ordered a 7 which fit. I think the sizes stated represent men’s sizing so just be cautious and maybe check with Riedell first. I should have! Otherwise, great skates and can’t wait to break them in.

Been using it for a couple months now. At first it was very comfortable. About a month or two in, my right foot is starting to feel crammed. Not sure if it’s because my foot might be wide? But if I use them too much my right foot starts to hurt on the outside of my foot just below my pinky toe. It feels like there’s some sort of hard plastic that’s right up against the bone and it hurts if I skate too long in one session or a lot during the week. If it weren’t for that slight issue, I’d give them 5 stars. Other than that I love these skates. These were my first ever pair and I’m glad I got them at a good price. When they were delivered they came in a day before they were scheduled to deliver and I could go skating that night which was awesome. Quality is amazing the leather is great. However it can get scratched up really easily if you’re a beginner skater like I kind of am. I don’t mind the scuffs and scratches personally because if I’m buying a “shoe” I’m going to put it to use. The wheels are standard wheels I believe 97 A or something, no issues with them really. The toe stops are short which I like because I can practice toe maneuvers without having to worry about the toe stopper getting in the way.

I love them! I started out with some TERRIBLE and cheap skates lol. Then, I moved to the Moxi Lolly skates. Then, I decided I loved skating & went for these. I had NO clue what a huge difference ankle support makes in how you skate. I feel much more stable and grounded. It’s completely transformed my learning process. As soon as I picked one up, I felt the quality of the boot. I heat molded them and they fit my foot perfectly and are super comfortable. Totally worth the investment!

Absolutely amazing skates. They feel like a dream! I own a pair of Moxi Lollys, which are great for outdoor, but I wanted a pair specifically for the rink that I can keep harder wheels on without switching out so often. These were a great choice as a beginner/intermediate skater. The Riva wheels are so smooth and buttery. The fit is very true to size; follow the sizing chart exactly. I am typically a women's size 6, purchased a size 4 (they're perfect). I love the boot shape with the wider toe. They fit more comfortably than my Moxis even without breaking them in. I added an insole to these for extra arch support/comfort, and WOW. Just fantastic. I can't say enough good things!

Great for beginners! I really like the frame of the Riedell skates — solid build and comfortable feel. Easy 10 out of 10. The wheels that come with them aren’t the best, but you can always swap them out for better ones. You can make up upgrades as you go on

Very comfortable boot. Perfect fit according to the chart. Very happy with the wheels for indoor concrete floor. The skates come with rubber plugs instead of toe stops so I ordered a pair of toe stops at an extra cost of $17.
