Scale lasted a year before it started glitching out and wouldn’t hold a charge. Contacted customer support who, though the one year warranty had expired a few days later, agreed to send me a replacement.The replacement was not the same model and was battery operated instead of rechargeable. I didn’t complain about this though since it still paired to my phone and worked. Now, six months later, the replacement is malfunctioning and customer won’t offer any more help that sending simple troubleshooting advice such as taking the batteries out…I have a new scale from a different brand arriving soon. I’m bummed to lose all my data when I switch to their app, but hopefully their scale will last me longer.UPDATE. Was contacted by customer service and at first they tried to send me a correct replacement. A correct replacement was not available and so I was given the option of getting a refund. I chose to get the refund.Since they have tried (though failed the first time) to make things right, and responded to my issues, I have changed my rating more because of the customer service than for the original scale.

Unfortunately, it provides a very accurate read - NOT the numbers one wants to see, but those that are necessary to make changes. This is a great product.

I have diabetes and I am learning to monitor my food intake and portion sizes. As a result of chronic pain, it has become increasingly important for me to lose weight in the last few years. Every pound I lose feels like ten on my joints.I like using this scale because it is very accurate. The digital display is easy to read while standing upright. I also appreciate that it easily connects to Apple Health on my iPhone, which provides information about my body fat index and various other metrics.One feature I love is that it gives me information about my bone density and muscle mass. It also provides data on how my body age compares to my actual age based on my weight and bone density. This helps me to see whether I am aging appropriately or if I need to make some changes to my weight, bone density, and muscle strength.After surviving three cancers, I was not surprised to find out that I was several years older than my actual age. My goal is to do my best every day, and this scale is helping me to achieve that. I highly recommend this scale to anyone looking to track their weight, bone density, and muscle mass accurately.

I just started my weight loss journey and needed a new scale. After reading lots of reviews I decided on this one. In conjunction with the app on my phone I had a complete breakdown of several readings, not just weight. It’s very thin and the top is made of glass. It seems to be sensitive to the readings, so make sure to use the same area on the floor-also, you need to use it on a hard surface, no carpet. Highly recommended!

The scale itself displays your weight in RED LED's, so you really can use this without the app, if you just want to see your weight, but with the App, a whole new world opens up!The Renpho iPhone app I use, which is a free download, connects to the scale via Bluetooth and collects and displays many (13) stats on your body, weight and etc. (see amazon product notes) and it integrates well into the Apple Health app, though I never use it, the Renpho App is all I need. Using the Renpho app, it stores stats and a history, which is awesome to look over time my weight changes and 13 different stats! Plus you can open up each stat to view health indicators and a range of good to bad and where you fit in.Features I love about this product include;1) NO BATTERIES (I've stopped using AA and all other batteries) - USB charge the internal battery, you just connect it to any USB device/charger to charge it , which my battery has last for 5 months,2) small, thin, lite weight,3) being able to keep a history of my weight and other stats in the smartphone app, with history and health indicators and set goals!!!!CALIBRATE YOUR RENPHO SCALE (no tools needed) - One thing I didn't see in the manual was how do you calibrate this scale!? You Calibrate the scale when you first use it and it it's been moved. Here's how;1) Place the scale where you plan to use it, on a flat solid surface, bathroom floor, wherever, not on carpet,2) With your foot, step right in the middle of the scale with a good amount of force until you see a weight displayed on the scales RED LED display,3) immediately lift your foot off the scale,4) in the RED LED display the letters "CAL" will be displayed as it's calibrating itself (a few seconds),5) next you'll see the numbers "00" in the RED LED display,6) then the display goes off. I was looking for an accurate bathroom scale, the other features don't matter to me. I have 2 other bathroom scales and both give inaccurate readings. They both read out to 1/10th of a pound but can be off by 2 pounds or more. For example, if you step differently on them, they give you a different weight. Or I can take off my shoes and the weight doesn't change.This scale has none of those problems. I can purposely stand in a slightly different location or put more weight on my toes or heels and it reads the same. If I take off my shoes and re-weigh myself, it shows the small difference.It's fast, easy to use, accurate, easy to read, and a charge lasts a long time.I haven't used all the other features becausea) I don't like the lack of privacy. They share your datab) I think most of the fat data is bogus from scales like this.
