Works for what I needed it.
It’s a plain black karate belt, regular width.I didn’t want to use my own as this will be part of a craft project, and I’ve embroidered it - which worked pretty well.It’s a decent belt, nothing fancy.The price is right.

Adequate first black belt
This isn't what I would recommend if you plan to keep one black belt throughout your martial arts journey.The material feels a little frail but I am comparing it to my first and only black belt which I received in 1998 and still manages to fit around my waist somehow.The length is as described and it's not overly expensive.If you're on a budget, plan to later get a "proper" black belt, or want an embroidered one eventually, then this is a good placeholder or backup belt to get.In my opinion, this feels like a temporary belt like what I would get for my kyu rank students since they would be moving on from it in three to four months.
