Very good device. Easy to use. Works!
5 stars! This product has received some negative reviews. Most seem to be attributed to not installing the device correctly per the directions.I have a 2019 Ford F150.Took the Pedal Jack out of the package and it was a breeze to slip over the brake pedal while just seated normally in the vehicle.First thing I noticed was it was not long enough to prevent the pedal from being depressed which enables the gear shifter.Again, easy fix per the instructions. Use the supplied Allen wrench. Insert it into the center hole on the foot of the lock and turn it.One way lowers the foot. Other way raises the foot. Raise the foot to the length needed so its braced against your floorboard when its attached to your brake pedal arm.Took me 5 minutes to set up and no matter the torquing and finagling I could not get the pedal jack into an angled position to allow the brake to be depressed.Excellent and easy to use anti theft tool at an affordable cost. For my F150 I'd say I extended the foot platform about 4 inches. Not at all disappointed with this product. Thieves will never put in all the cumbersome effort to cut this thing off while having to squeeze into your floorboard to do so. They will move on to something easier. They may so some electrical and cosmetic damage getting it started before they even see the pedal jack. But you will still have your vehicle. They wont have it.

For the Price, VERY GOOD
I really like this product. It deploys quickly, is sturdy, seems durable, and the lock works very well. Once the jack is in place, the brake pedal cannot be depressed. There's a nut at the bottom of the device that you can loosen to adjust the product's height accordingly, so it should fit most pedals. It does require a bit of strength to set properly as your left foot must push on the part of the device labeled "PEDAL" while both your hands pull up the yellow portion of the device towards to you to lock it. That said, my female friend who weighs 115lbs is able to set the device, so you don't have to be Hercules.I'm sure thieves could bypass the device by knocking out the floorboards somehow, but I think that would require quite a bit of time and force, although I could be mistaken because I've never tried. Nonetheless it seems like a good deterrent, especially for the price. The pedal jack isn't much a visual deterrent however, it's more of a "thief is in the car and now upset that there's a device on the pedal" anti-theft device. This is because it isn't THAT visible. Yes the handle is yellow, but even during the day when it's installed on my Honda Civic it's difficult to see. So imagine trying to see it at night.I coupled the utility of the pedal jack with the visibility of The Club to deter thieves. Hopefully it will work.PEACE.

Security
Pedal jack is excellent it’s what I was looking for. It’s not so bulky. I like the feeling of extra security. Very sturdy and solid very well made. The only problem I had was the keys cause it’s tight fitting but after you use awhile the key slides in the device much easier. Maybe cause it’s so new.

Brake Lock
It's not the handiest but then that is what you want. I'm no thief, but I can see NO way to steal a car with this thing on. The instructions are not good. Save the allen wrench! There is an allen screw at the bottom of the foot of the lock. You have to unscrew that allen screw to adjust the foot to your firewall/brake pedal distance. Just stick with it until you get the adjustment right and you will have an extremely good theft deterrent.

Good concept, bad execution
It seems like a good idea, but there is one problem: it's too short.Even when extended to its full length, it is not long enough to reach the floor (need to be at least 1 and 1/2 inch longer). As a result, the pedal can still depressed when the pedal jack is installed.

Car thief's can't drive a manual transmission is an urban legend.
I really like this device. It is easy to use and seems to be of good quality. The sellers customer service is second to none.I did the modification on my floor board because I didn't really like how it would move around left to right but I don't think that it was really necessary. It fit my clutch pedal perfectly 1999 Ranger and it gets plenty tight.I think that some of the reviews claiming that it is too short might be operator error because it gets pretty long especially for a small car.I like it on the clutch pedal because it has to come off to start the truck, I guess that they will just drill the lock.I combined this with an alarm system so I hope that the combination slows them down a little. I like them so much I bought two of them.

Works for some cars, way too short for others
I used Pedal Jack first on my 2000 Honda CR-V. Even though it was about 1/2 inch too short to give a perfect fit, pressing the brake by 1/2 inch was not enough to have any effect so the device provided the promised effect. Therefore, I decided to buy another Pedal Jack for my 2020 Toyota Camry. Just to be on the safe side, I tried first if it worked on the 2020 Camry before ordering the second device. It turned out that Pedal Jack is more than 6 inches shorter than what would be required and thus was completely ineffective on the 2020 Camry. I think the company should have described in the specifications that the distance between the handle of the brake pedal and firewall should be less than a certain value in oder for the device to work. That would have been the responsible thing to and would have avoided a lot of unhappy customers.
