AC Power Adapter Charger For Dell Inspiron 1545 + Power Supply Cord 19.5V 3.34A 65W

I purchased this for my wife's old Dell Inspiron 1545. Laughingly, this is the third charger (charging the second battery) this trusty, scrappy little machine has gone through. I was delighted to see that the charger is actually shaped more like the one I have on my HP (rectangular, smaller) the charger works fine, and even if it doesn't last any longer than the others, the price is well enough to where I hardly care.

This power adapter is very cheaply made. It was almost DOA when I got it. I plugged it in and it started to hiss, then I head a big popping sound. I am glad it didn't fry the computer or I would have been a very unhappy customer. I guess one of the capacitors went already. I have bought many different power adapters for the Dell Inspiron 1545 this one was the worst. At least I got my money back, but I had wait to find another one hopefully a little better quality.

First of all, the product did not work -- the charger did not light up when plugged in to an outlet and did not charge my computer at all (I tried multiple outlets), and second of all, a different charger was sent to me than the one pictured here, I was sent a malfunctioning AC Adapter with two-pronged plug, rather than the one pictured, which has a three-pronged plug. I hope this was just a misunderstanding. Thank you.

I just so happened to search for an ac Adapter and oredered this one. This was a GREAT purchase! The adapter was not only a great price but was also a great fit! I have my laptop back and happy again! I recommend this if you also have the same type of adapter! Thanks for the product!!

Ok for the money.

The first charger I opened and used, charged my laptop for the first 2 weeks and then stop charging it.(kept it powered on) I just opened the second one last night to use and as soon as I plugged it in, the charger produced sparks,smoke and fire!! I don't know if I just happened to get 2 defective chargers or what, but beware could cause a fire!!!!

This charger worked fine for a time, then stopped charging the battery. Which I also purchased new and was an OEM Dell battery. Disappointing.

This is very cheaply made and the plug that plugs into the computer is way to loose and keeps falling out. It is good enough for now

This replacement was great. It was more light weight than the original but that is okay with me. Otherwise everything is up to standard.

had this adapter and cord less than month. DOES NOT FIT/DOES NOT WORK. THE OCTAGONAL SHAPE DOES NOT FIT WELL IN LAPTOP.
