Nice Product. Saved Me From Severely Damaging My Outboard Skeg
After a long and tiring day on the water, I accidentally forgot to lift my outboard before pulling my trailered boat from the water. While pulling the boat from the water I felt and heard a noise that no one wants to hear, the outboard's skeg was dragging along the boat ramp. Stopping immediately, lifting the motor, and expecting the worst, I was very relieved to see that the skeg was fully intact and the only minor damage that occurred was to the bottom edge of the Megaware SkegPro I had installed a few months earlier. I would highly recommend this product. No one expects to do what I did, but if/when it happens, and you have this product installed, you'll be glad you purchased it.

Simple and Easy fix
Worked as advertised. Easy to install, keeps my skeg from hitting the the ground by accident and covers the chunk the previous owner took out of it.

Worked as expected
Product worked as it should. It’s good quality. Always looking for more ways to throw money into my boat… Lol. The skeg guard was easy to install and I feel better about protecting that outdrive.

Bends easy
Easy to install works ok. If you hit anything even at slow speed might as well order another one bends extremely easy. Already replaced it 2 times and need another one now.

Save a keel
Well worth the money. Kissed a number of rocks and it did its job. Had to press it back into to working shape. What's nice is it gives and saves the keel.

Protected keel and prop
Senior moment. 225 Yamaha, 24' Grady White. Boating 50 plus years. Pulled boat out of launch ramp with engine in down position. Drove to and on freeway. Pulled over and this item totalled. However skeg minor damage and prop had some very small grind marks on tips. Very impressed and buying another one. Hate to think of amount of damage without this
