The short ones are plenty big.
These are great. I had a 13.8V lithium battery that had these stupid Phillips head nuts on it that are worthless and you can't clamp anything to.Can't clamp anything to the terminals cause they don't existEnter these little brass nubbins. Absolutely magic.A thing of beauty.

Not Genuine XP Power, but good quailty.
Not Genuine XP Power terminals. I ordered one set from Summit Racing and the other set here. This set came in a generic bag. The real XS Power terminals have official packaging. The good news is these are nice quality and might be machined better than the XS Power units. Only one set of screws too.

I'd purchased the post adaptors months earlier because i planned to upgrade my car battery. Id finally got the battery I wanted and it was time exchange the old battery for the new xs power battery. After the epic journey to exchange battery on the 2014 chevy malibu, the battery terminal was to large for the adaptors. I was so upset and disappointed it didn't fit. So I checked out some reviews and saw some people had the same issue of the adaptors being to thin to connect to the battery terminal. Then I read a review about one adapter being larger than the other. Wow!! It finally worked after switching the adaptors!!

Bad quality control.
Very good posts, weak screw threads that can come off even though I torqued them to the 8lb spec it says in the sheet. I ordered two packs because each pack comes with a small and big post for some odd reason and the second pack I received has a thicker bottom base, bad quality control. I needed two of the big posts so I ordered two packs, I should only have to order one. Should have two small posts and two big posts in separate bags or a all in one solution. Anyway they fit they work but I can't return them because the XS battery is almost impossible to return because of the way the seller has things set up. Let's hope the battery is worth the trouble.
