Two Months of Chair Shopping and Still No Dice
I am an Amazon prime member. I needed this drafting chair to work at home. It didn't say at checkout that shipping would be delayed. It took a month to receive my order — because they simply did not put it in the mail even though it was "sold and shipped by Amazon" (not a third party). In any event, it even overshot Amazon's "delayed" schedule, hence a month before the chair I returned was replaced with what I received — which also doesn't work for me. During assembly it was difficult to line up the shallow threaded screws that affix the bottom of the seat to the shaft. Once assembled, the lumbar support encroaches on the seat because it rides too low. Because there isn't much room to squish your toosh under the lumbar support, it has the effect of pushing one forward. The sensation one gets is that of being pitched forward, which diminishes the comfort of the chair. (I felt like I had to lean more on the foot ring to keep from sliding out.) There is no way to adjust this lumbar feature or to get the back of the seat to move backward so it's essentially a deal breaker. As an FYI, there is also no way that the chair I received can accommodate the advertised weight. I am significantly short of the advertised limit and I felt like it wasn't sturdy enough. I previously returned a chair that didn't feel sturdy that was rated for less but felt more solid relative to its lower weight limit (if the criteria of "solid" consists of getting on/off the chair at height using the foot ring and the arms for balance, which were also fold-away-arms similar to this one). On this chair, the arms flex, the foot ring wobbles in the lowest position and there is some slight side-to-side wobble. The pneumatic cylinder also sinks shortly after sitting down about two inches in a jerky fashion. For all the above reasons, I will have to hassle a second drafting chair return and — if I am stupid enough to reorder a sight-unseen-chair off of Amazon — which, sadly, is about the only game in town for a selection of these kinds of chairs, I will have to revisit the delays associated with the fact that office chairs are apparently "non-essential items". (I have already taken the time on a Chat with Amazon to point out that customers need chairs to work at home during this pandemic so classifying them as "non-essential" and therefore subjecting them to unusually lengthy shipping delays while reporting them as "in stock" is nonsensical!)As the great chair hunt continues, I've struck out thus far three times if I count a chair that I bought elsewhere and was also forced to return (that drafting chair was a "big and tall" variety with a seat so deep my back couldn't make contact with the lumbar support, in contrast to this one where the lumbar support cuts off almost three inches of seat depth.) Between the poor product experiences and slow order fulfillment, my chair shopping experience has dragged on nearly two months already. To make matters worse, I got wind of something of another sort not right about Amazon Prime as of late, and that is an upcoming Amazon Prime movie called "Cracka", which depicts gratuitous racial violence (never mind that the tables are turned). All things considered, I will most likely cancel my Amazon Prime as it hasn't served me, regardless, as a rural area resident who depends on Internet shopping more than most! (I am getting faster service by far from Walmart, Target, Sam's Club, Costco and just about everywhere BUT Amazon.)

Perfect Chair for home office
I purchased this chair after many months of making do with house chairs that was so unsupportive to my back. I need something with a thick cushion, wheels, harms that raised and adjustable height for my adjustable height desk. This Chair is PERFECT!!! I love the feel of it and the height of it. I'm a little different as I like to sit in my chair Indian style sometimes and this works great for me. Being able to raise the arm rest is phenomenal and was a requirement for me. The wheels move smoothly across the carpet and I do not need a mat . This was the perfect price point and the quality is great. Strong chair and great back support. You cant go wrong with this one. It took me less than 30 minutes to put together at a leisurely pace. Just make sure to angel the arms properly and you will get it attached easily.

Bulky
First of all, this is a nice and good quality chair for what I got for it on Prime Day. :) My back actually started hurting though using this chair. I think because I’m 5’1” and can’t touch the ground when I have it all the way down. When I sit high on my stand up desk, it feels better which is fine except when I have to go to my writing table is when I have to put my seat down… or it might be the firm seat. It’s more bulky than comfy. I should have looked for a softer seat and smaller chair. Now I have to find something to put on top. If I could shrink it a little and have a softer cushion I would be happy. I guess that’s the risk of buying online. I’ll make it work for me though.

So far so good
Nice things:- Chair is very comfortable (in my mind)- Material on the chair seems fairly durable (seems very sturdy - not like some of those paper-thin fake-leather finishes you see on some cheap office furniture)- I find the back very comfortable as well- My favorite feature is the ability to lean back. Others have complained about the tension adjustment, but it seems to work great for me.- Very happy with the priceNegatives:- I don't use the footrest much on it, but it seems to always fall down and doesn't seem to fasten in place very tightly. It doesn't bother me personally, but that might be something to consider. You might be able to improve it yourself with some adjustments if that was important to you. On the other hand, the lowest position for the foot rest is decently high up, so depending on how long your legs are, you might not need to adjust it anyway.Neutral:- Assembly was moderately easy. The back gets attached to a chassis piece, which then gets attached to the seat, and the seat gets attached to the adjustment mechanism. This is all done with screws - so there were quite a few screws and I wonder if maybe some of that could come pre-assembled (e.g., chassis to seat or seat to back rest). However, I don't mind, especially for the price and tilt feature!

Great chair
Needed a tall chair for my new stand up desk. Bought this on sale, skeptical that it would be tall enough. It is! The metal foot ring is perfect, too. 4 stars only because it's not super comfortable but it is very stable and seems very durable.

Nice chair, great hight adjustment, but not up to regular use.
Bought for daily work from home at both a normal height desk and a high drafting desk. Great adjustment to suit both, comfy chair, looked really nice. After a year of daily use (well within the specified weight limits etc), suddenly a large cracking noise, and one of the legs had cracked. Of course it's beyond any return window from Amazon (can't even raise a case) so an expensive replacement.

Excellent Chair
Better than expected. Seat size and lumbar support is good. Offers comfort for longer periods of time while using at a workstation. Very happy.

Foot rest ring could have a little more diameter to be comfortable for my size
Seat tilt with tension control was locked so it would not tilt back. We discovered the raise and lower leaver had to be pulled out to unlock the seat tilt. Instructions on the lever knob are there but since I am not the first customer to have trouble "discovering" this feature, maybe an explanatory tag would be helpful. This is a well built chair with fold up armrest. Foot rest ring could have a little more diameter to be comfortable for my size.

easy to put together
Arrived quick, easy to put together, comfy. Love the fold up arm rests. Great hight. The foot rest is to small and kinda useless. i have some wood blocks for my feet to rest on instead.

Great chair
This is a great chair for the price. I love having the armrest up of down to get them out of the way when needed. Great height adjustment. If the seat could be made of mesh also it would be great but at that price this can't be beat.
