Works as promised by description of product.
Excellent product at a great price. Tools are supplied with rack, however, use of socket wrenches made assembly super easy. I used the rack a few times now and it is sturdy on the back of my SUV. I truly like the included rubber straps for securing the bike on the rack (See attached pics). The bike mounts are adjustable to accommodate different bike frames, so care should be observed for correct angles of the mounts to the frame. The rack isn't all that heavy, and install and removal from the car hitch is a breeze. The pins are easy to snap in and out for removal. The rack can be lowered by removing the lower pin for opening the rear door or trunks in a vehicle. Recommend getting this rack, you will not be disappointed.

Work great for my needs
Where can I purchase additional bike rack mounting saddles? The original one's cracked, and another does not fully tighten. Thank you.

Extremely good quality
So everything about this rack is top-notch except for the instructions. The images don't show enough of the product to fully understand the orientation of the parts so be prepared to have to undo one or two assemblies if you get them wrong. No big thing if you do not tighten any hardware until the rack is fully assembled. Watch out for the black Allen bolts that might fall out of the bike "tie-downs" and end up separate in the box. All said, though, I'm extremely happy with this product and recommend it highly.

Very good quality for the price.
This is priced well for a 2 bike rack, and holds the bike securely. I use a small bungee cord on each wheel to keep the wheels from spinning, and a 3rd bungee cord to pull the bike against the rack. Although I've only used it for one bike so far, I recommend getting a piece of black foam pipe insulation, and zip tie it to the vertical metal portion of the rack, so the bike does not have metal to metal contact. I'm very satisfied with this bike rack.

Just ok!
First of all the red reflector was missing from my box and a couple of pieces of torn rubber fell out of one of the tubes when I was unpacking it. I have no idea what the rubber pieces are as they are not shown on the basic set of instructions. The carrier does appear to be well built and is quite heavy although there is some wobble in the upper mast where it tilts down. Don't know if the rubber pieces may have been some type of shim or not. I just put this on and have not tested how it secures my bike on the road but it appears it will do the job. I was hoping removing it would be a little easier but when you pull out the pin it is still a job backing out the bolt from the threaded anti-wobble bracket. Most positive thing is that it is a great price (as long as it works).

Great value for performance!
This bike carrier took a bit to assemble, but no major problems. I didn't realize it's pretty much hard bolted to the hitch receiver, so not an easy on/off by any means. But once in place, I've lugged bikes several times now and came away with full confidence in its performance and security. I do use a velcro strip (provided) to keep the front wheel in one place, and a long cable lock if concerned about leaving the bike on the carrier for any time. Overall very pleased with the purchase!

Couldn't Even assemble!
10-3-20Five minutes out of the box and I knew it was a dud. As you can see from the pictures, the bar is not square so the bolt holes do not line up. I've put together countless products with similar bolt-hole assemblies with less than perfect alignments, but this is completely defective.I'm utterly disappointed because I spent the entire day with my friend installing a new tailgate hitch to my car that would accommodate this bike carrier. After successfully installing the hitch (which was a worthwhile project and saved me a ton on installation fees at a garage), I was excited to assemble the bike carrier and put it to use the next day. Sadly, I will have to wait a little longer.I've done a lot of research on carriers and this one seemed to hit the major things on my checklist: 2" hitch compatible, tilt feature so I can access my trunk without removing the bikes, and less than $100. It seemed from the other reviews that other buyers were happy with this product (and they were able to assemble it). I am hoping that this package I got was just a faulty one. Ultimately, I decided to bite the bullet and exchange for a replacement. One-star for now, Amazon, but if the replacement works, I'll likely update my review. Check back in a week or so.Update 10-11-20I got a new one. Although I was able to assemble it, I was amazed how wobbly it was in the hitch receiver. The fit looked good, but no matter how much I tightened the hitch bolt, it did wobbled like crazy. The tilt feature was the main feature I was interested it. This works, but it is a metal on metal pivot point. I would worry about using this repeatedly. Even strong metal like this would probably bend or wear away over time, especially with two bikes on it.Bottom line: I do not recommend this product. I decided that I am serious enough about riding that I am going to spend extra on a tray/platform-style carrier. There's not a lot of options these days-- it seems like everyone has picked up biking due to the pandemic and all of the good carriers are out of stock. I found one I like and it's on the way. I guess I can thank amazon for allowing me to test this out even though it was a total dud!

Good value, but saddles crack after 3 years
I bought one of these 3 years ago. I've used it with my old Schwinn Continental and my new dual sport. It's been mounted on my Expedition outside the whole time.It has worked great, but the hard rubber saddles have begun to crack and fail. XCAR does not have replacement parts. But, I found good replacements on Amazon. ASENDIWAY part BIK-BL01. They fit nicely and seem better than the original.
