The Rock Front Shooting Rest with Adjustable Elevation, Recoil Reducing, Interchangeable Feet, for Range, Hunting, Shooting, and Outdoors

I received this item in the late afternoon and was using it 30 minutes later. The Rock went together very easy with no issues. It made a good cradle for the 700 but a bit too small for the Glenfield. The Rock came with a rear bag which was okay for the 700, but was not high enough for the 60. So, I placed an old shot bag under it to raise the stock up. This was an easy fix and I will just deal with it. (Hard to make something to fit all) I purchased this for the 60, simple to use, fast adjustments, and very smooth (a little gun oil goes a long ways!) I had read a post about the main screw cam getting stuck, burrs or something. Not the issue here, very well machined. Overall, the material, bags, are well made, look nice and very stable. There's nothing wrong with where this item was made, China, but then again, a great person once said, "it's a nice tie and it looks great" Ty

Used this right after receiving it to sight in a rifle. Good mount up front, easy to adjust. The rear bag is small and too short but that is workable. Overall it does the job just fine and is a good item for the price.

This rest works great! Was very easy to put together. Pretty smooth to adjust, but I think I will add a little grease or lube to the main ram for slightly smoother turning. It catches a little when going down if there is no weight on the cradle, but you just have to push it down and it works. If you have a rifle on the cradle, the weight of that makes it work perfectly. The elevation wheel is nice and big, and easy to turn and make very slight adjustments. I am using it with an AR-15, and the rear bag I think is gonna be a little low. No problem though to stick something underneath it to bring it up some. When assembled, and tightened down (including the J-hook), this rest is very stable. Cant wait to take it to the range and get some shooting in with it. If it performs as well as I think it will, I will be very happy with it. I was debating between this and the Rock BR, and I really think that this one will do everything I want or need. So far so good!

Overall this is a good bench rest and easily adjustable. The threads on the shaft that raises and lowers the barrel were machined okay but were kind of rough. I took some 120 grit sand paper to knock down the edges a little bit to smooth them out, now the adjustment wheel doesn’t bind slightly every 3rd or 4 revolution and operates smoothly. The rear bag is good quality, not like the older ones, and could be a tad taller but it works. For the price this is a good quality bench rest that can be used an many settings.

Awesome purchase for the price. I usually use a hoodie or t shirt as my “butt pad” shoot off the back of my car truck.

This is a very high quality rest. It’s a bit heavy to lug around but exceptionally strong and of good quality. It’s rock solid.

The 3 “pins” at the base make adjustments easy. Assembly is not too difficult, but it is very heavy, I put it in a plastic bag, the bag ripped before I made it out of my house. Get a sturdy bag, or this thing will be a pain to carry around

Excellent! Je ne peux plus m'en passer pour régler une arme. Facile à transporter car prend peu de place + la poignée est top. Attention à bien tout fixer pour ne reine perdre en chemin... Je recommande sans hésiter.

Nice adjustable rest for bench shooting. I don't have a short tripod on all my rifles, so this is helpful for me on range days. It's not overly heavy or large - it fits angled in the duffel bag I carry stuff to the range in.
