Bach Trumpet TR300

At first I was a little unsure when the trumpet arrived in a food box. More troubling was that the Bach trumpet came in a Selmer trumpet case. Other than that, the Bach trumpet performs as expected. We needed to purchase valve oil for the sticking valves. Once it was lubed, it worked perfectly! All in all, a good value considering that a Bach trumpet costs way more than I paid!

Was as advertised

The trumpet was in poor condition and was engraved all over with the previous owners name. There were broken parts and it was not playable.

I bought this trumpet, mouth piece and case used from Roxy music store through Amazon. Apparently Amazon uses only one generic pic for multiple same used instruments. We were told by my sons band teacher to get a certain one with a 5C mouthpiece. The one in the pic had a 5C. The one in the pic also had a dent on the side and was a bit tarnished. No big deal for us because I’m used to my son wanting to try things on a whim before quitting a week later. The one that arrived was much nicer. It was in great shape but had a 7C mouthpiece. I emailed Roxy Music store and they put a brand new 5C in the mail free of charge. You just don’t get that kind of customer service from stores anymore so I wanted to recommend them to others.

What a great deal! I purchased a used trumpet and it was exactly as described! The case had clearly been mended, although very well and the sent a brand new mouth piece. Perfect for my 11 year old to start out band with!
