OTB is High Quality New Balance
Some reviewers have been concerned that OTB is not New Balance. OTB was bought by New Balance, and was one of the best boots available; in fact, they invented the category "sports/tactical." All their boots were and are AR 670-1 milspec standard (including Desert Lite, Abyss, etc.) and have been loved by the military for years.OTB, like some New Balance, are made in China, and of the two sets I've bought here, one was labeled New Balance and one OTB, and they are identical. New Balance has taken the OTB $200+ US boot and is selling it for under $100. New Balance is partially made in america and partially china. These boots fit great, are extremely comfortable, last forever, and do not differ regardless of how NB brands them. Just wanted to give a little different perspective. These are advertised as "US and imported" although that could probably be clearer! Highly recommended.

Very light weight and supportive, fits like a glove.
I wear composite toe boots all day long at work, and they can really wear your feet down. I was looking for a pair of boots to wear to the range and to go hiking in, after trying these, I believe I have found my perfect pair. The OTD New Balance boots are very light weight and comfortable, the only thing so far is, that I have not scotch guarded them yet and have not worn them in the rain.

They are very comfortable but they just won't hold up anymore
Sole comes off in less than a month. I used to get these same shoes and wear them for over a year. Recently I have purchased two pair and neither one lasted even a month before the sole starts coming off. They are very comfortable but they just won't hold up anymore. Expensive work boots that won't hold up for even a month under normal conditions, really sad!

Great Boots
Too bad New Balance has decided to discontinue these boots, I ordered 3 pairs of them just to have them when they are no longer in stock. The are true fit, light, comfy and out of the box the are ready to go, no break in required.

Not as comfortable as advertised
The look is very bad ass. They are light weight and untill now have held up great. The fit is not as comfortable as advertised being designed by NB (made by OTB). The first day they blistered by little toe on each foot. Maybe a breaking in period is required. Will update further down.

These boots are very comfortable but don't last long at all
These boots are very comfortable but don't last long at all. I purchased these boots for work and they only lasted about 4 months before they started to tear up.

Good for the price
Good quality boots. Will break in over the weekend. I do wish that they had an easy lace up system. Other than that they will be fine for woodsball/scenario paintball.

Get these boots while you still can
I bought my first pair of the New Balance/OTB Bushmaster Boots when I was in Afghanistan a few years ago. After that I couldn't wear any other boot. I've tried the Garmonts, Reeboks, Rockys, Bellevilles, and some others, and they just don't compare. While these boots are just a tad heavier than the Nikes and the Rockys, they offer more ankle stability and will last longer. You can take these boots to the field and they will not fall apart. However, as with these style of sneaker boots they aren't ultra durable. How long they last depends on what kind of abuse you throw at them. But you can count on these boots taking care of your feet during that time. The mesh lining makes these boots extremely breathable and quick drying. I have done multiple 12 milers in these boots paired up with the right socks without even a hotspot. Not totally sure if they're AR 670-1 compliant or not, once in a while they'll get a funny look but no one has said anything. Plus with how popular the "sneaker boots" are with everyone these days, no one should bat an eye at them. After wearing these for so long I could never go back to those heavy, bulky standard issue boots.I wear a size 10.5wide running shoe, and I buy the same size for these and the fit is perfect. It is really a shame New Balance/OTB got out of the boot making market, as they really hit it out of the park with these boots. I bought the last two pairs in my size when I saw them here so I can save them for tough events in the future.
