Sturdy, reliable cat scratcher!
I typically buy cat scratchers from petco, but one of my cats started a habit of “pacman” chomping his way through them, ruining it for the other cats. I needed a cat scratcher fast that was sturdy enough that he couldn’t ruin & this one works! It’s not easily crushed, big enough if both of my 5lb cats want to share it, but typically one cat likes to sprawl out so I bought two of them. It has lasted several months & still going strong! For me, I converted the space above my kitchen cabinets as a “cat walk.” So that’s where these scratchers are placed. If you leave it stationary in a particular area, you’ll never see any cardboard shedding. You only see some cardboard shedding underneath it if you move the scratcher to a different location, but it’s very minimal & easy to clean up. Will definitely be buying more so each cat doesn’t have to share.

Best $30 I ever spent!
We have a 3-legged kitty named Captain Ahab and we had some issues finding him a scratching solution. He cannot jump as he is missing a back leg and he is kinda tubby so traditional scratching posts did not work for him. We tried a scratching post made for munchkin cats, but even though he did not need to jump he showed no interest in the scratching post (there goes $100 down the drain). I came across this scratch lounger and even though I was skeptical I was pretty desperate. Ahab had started to scratch half-heartedly on various things around the house, clearly frustrated that he did not have an adequate scratching option, so I figured why not and bit the bullet. It took Ahab a little bit to figure out what this was (he is not the brightest cat). First, he just sat on it, then he tried laying on it, and after a few days finally the first scratch! Since then, he has really taken to it! He seems much happier now that he has a good place to scratch and he still enjoys laying on it. We have had it for a little over a month and it is still sturdy and scratchable. The places where he scratches most frequently are definitely visible and I would guess that after around 6 months or so he is going to need a new one for fresh scratching, but I will be more than happy to do it. It's a much better value to have to buy a $30 scratcher every 6-10 months vs buying a $100 scratcher that is currently being used as a place to balance items on and is still completely un-scratched!

Has helped keep 20 year old cat with arthritis active and happy
Great quality, appearance, and height for my cat with arthritis. He loves to lay on it sleeping and watching tv, and he also uses it as scratching post instead of furniture. The curve of the bed seems to be ideal for stretching and relaxing his back and legs, with his front legs stretched out over the front. I believe it has helped him stay happy and active at 20 years old. I have purchased several of them, replacing them every 3-6 months. I would never go without one for him.

Three Cats Approved
This is the 3rd lounging scratcher’s we’ve purchased. Playability: Our three cats love laying in it and propping up on the end or stretched out scratching. One of our cats is a 22 pound Russian Blue to give you an idea of the durability. The attached photo is of our 13 pound female lounging. Functionality: It’s very durable No missing parts as there’s nothing to miss 🤣 Ease of assembly: it’s one unit, comes assembled 🤣 Value for the money: it’s a little on the pricey side, but what isn’t these days. … but, my cats own the money 🤣 Highly Recommend.

My two cats immediately took to it
As soon as I put this scratcher out, my two cats immediately loved it and lounged and scratched. with or without the catnip. It is not weighted and they are able to move it around. It was sturdy and withstood their aggressive scratching until they knocked the water bowl onto it, after that, one side peeled off and they started chewing on it. Even damp and missing one side, it is still their favorite scratcher. I'll be replacing it with another one, hopefully it will last longer if I keep it away from their water bowl!

Perfect size for an adult cat to snooze on; almost too well made for scratching
My cat loves sleeping on this u shaped scratcher. This fits an adult cat, unlike most of the cardboard scratchers, which show a picture with a kitten on it so the scratcher looks larger. The only downside is they're not as good for scratching and achieving the perfect whisker rub configuration as her tattered old scratcher, which is still her preferred scratching implement, mainly because they're too sturdy to destroy.

My cats love it!
I totally recommend this cat scratcher! Although it is a little pricey, I have to keep buying it for my cats because the lay on it and scratch it constantly. I attached a photo of the old one after a few months of use, compared to the new one, and you can see how much they love it. They clearly love it and scratch it all the time! They also love to lounge on it, too. It is very lightweight and no assembly is required! 10/10 recommend.

My cats are very HAPPY!
I have tried other scratch loungers. Most are too small, some get torn to shreds in a few months BUT these are really terrific! The shred takes a scratching and barely sheds cardboard! They last about 6-8 months and then I pass them off to the outside cats who really do their best to tear them apart but fail. It’s a test to their durability and the quality of this particular brand. Don’t waste your time, money or vacuum cleaner on others. These just hold up much better and work for even our largest indoor cats. Buy them before they are gone!

No me ha gustado que te engañan en la foto que ponen, lo ves más grande y luego parece de juguete de lo pequeño que es.

After just one month of usage the bed looked like a shredded cheese. The cardboard it’s made of is soft and weak.

Unsere Stubentiger haben total Spaß daran – sie kratzen, liegen drauf und spielen wieder miteinander. Scheint also super anzukommen.
