Venomous Snake Skeleton Display

My son said to tell the seller “this is my best specimen EVER!” He absolutely loves it. Impressive quality case, no details skipped including feet on the bottom of the case, carefully taped around edges (with easily removable tape) to avoid damage, beautiful high quality display case, carefully packaged, the snake itself was perfect, not one missing piece, everything nicely in tact. Arrived fast! Highly recommend!

The snake skeleton was absolutely beautiful and articulated well. I had plans when buying it to remove it from it's original mount and place it on my own mount. This was very doable with some sharp scissors and a razor blade. The skeleton is attached with several loops of fishing wire threaded through tiny holes in the mount down the body, and one small dab of glue at the head.Other commentors mentioned that their top plastic lid portion was cracked on arrival. Mine too was cracked, but since I knew this plastic cover is only to protect the skeleton during shipping, not for display, and that I had my own mount ready anyway this was of no consequence to me.I am very pleased with my purchase.

For the price its decent, all the bones are arranged well, the display case is ok, its smaller than I had envisioned.

It was exactly as advertized. Quality and detail are the stuff of museums. Very pleased.

This is a beautifully articulated snake skeleton, securely mounted, at a VERY reasonable price ($50, prime shipped, at time of purchase 8/13). The item was well packaged and exactly what I expected. However, the plastic cover, despite being securely packed, had one end piece completely detached upon opening. It's a cheap plastic cover that will be easily super glued, since it came apart right along the seam. I only took one star off for this because it is an otherwise great piece and for the price, the broken plastic, at least the way in which it is broken, is a piddly thing. The plastic is not otherwise cracked or broken in any way, just come apart at the seam. The base that this skeleton is mounted to is sufficiently sturdy and well put together, with rubber feet on the bottom so it doesn't slide around on a table. There is no hanger if you want to put it on a wall, you'll have to add one yourself if that's your intention. The plastic cover does not attach at all to the base, so it comes off very easily and will not work if you want to hang this on the wall. Though the materials (not including the skeleton itself) have room for a bit higher quality, overall, it looks beautiful, on a sturdy base that will hold up, and came with a price I couldn't find anywhere else. I am very happy with this purchase, despite the broken piece, and would totally buy again for the price, hoping to get a little luckier on the plastic.

Where are they getting the snakes from? I'm sure they don't wander around looking for dead snakes and their skeletons. Most animals used for display are killed....venomous snake or not, it shouldn't happen!
