One of the best additions to my toolbox. I use it not only as all-purpose lubricant but also to moisturize rubber, ensure lasting electrical contact, increase hermeticity in my watch case seals, etc.

I also use it inside spark plug boots to keep out water and make the boots easier to remove from the plugs

I use this on balky plug and socket contacts, and even though plain old grease would do fairly well, this eases insertion and retraction, and the silicone content presumably makes it more heat resistant. It also retards corrosion. The silicone gel and the solvent seperate however, so it is good to smush the tube around a bit or stir down into the tube with a bamboo skewer before dispensing.

Anytime you deal with electrical connections on trailers..this is a must

I use dielectric grease on every single 12volt connection I make... Solderless crimps, sensor connections, spark plugs, coils, or existing terminals. Whether it's on my ATV, motorcycles, pickup, RV, etc... Never had a corrosion issue or electric short from using dielectric grease!
