Best Collectors Edition I have Owned
THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE BLU-RAY/DVD COLLECTORS EDITION HOWEVER DISCS ARE THE SAME AS STANDARD EDITIONS SO ON DISC SECTIONS OF THE REVIEW ALSO APPLY TO STANDARD EDITIONS.SKIP TO END FOR QUICK PROS AND CONS:Physical Extras:I have owned a lot of collectors edition anime blu-rays and this is by far the best I have owned when it comes to physical extras. This includes an art book with some nice art of the characters and other things from the series. Art books are pretty standard with collectors editions however this is hard cover so bonus points for that. Also included is a set of collectable cards. These are number 21-30 in a set included starting with the collectors editions of Season 2 part 1 and 2. Unfortunately in the UK collectors editions of season 2 part 1 and 2 were cancelled last minute by Sony the distributor so it isn't possible to get cards 1-20 in the UK. Now that Manga UK seems to own the rights to home releases now and has re released season 1 on blu-ray and dvd hoping that these collectors editions get released here. The last 2 physical extras are an acrylic key chain of Bakugo and an acrylic standee of Deku and Bakugo. While I personally am unlikely to use the key chain it does have some nice art. Unsure how practical it would be to actually use it however as it seems quite large. The standee however is excellent. it looks excellent and give fans something nice to display. Never seen anything like this included with a collectors edition blu-ray/dvd before and would like to see more things like this in future.Blu-Ray On-Disc (Video Quality etc):As is standard for blu-ray the video quality is excellent. The audio quality for both the English and Japanese Dub as well as subtitle are also excellent. This is by far the best way to watch the series. The menu is also very nice and easy to navigate with a video of parts of the episodes playing in the background. As for extras the blu-ray has quite a lot. Most of these relate to the dub so not great for sub fans but it is still very nice as I have found a lot of anime blu-ray releases recently have been lacking on-disc extras with most having little or none at all. Extras include behind the scenes dubbing of episodes, interviews with the cast, outtakes, trailers and clean opening and endings. Very nice to see inclusion of so many extras.DVD On-Disc:As for video quality for the DVD, it is actually very good for a DVD but obviously no where near on par with the blu-ray. The audio quality is however excellent with it being close to or pretty much the same as the blu-ray for both the English and Japanese dubs. As is a problem with many DVD anime releases the subtitles aren't great. The translation is fine and they are readable however look pretty pixelated and ugly which is a little disappointing as I have seen DVD subtitles improving a lot recently.Unfortunately when it comes to on-disc extras the DVD has none. This is a disappointing as not all fans will own a blu-ray player so will be unable to see the extras for the series. Not sure if this was due to limited space on the discs but it would have been nice to at least see some on there.Series Review (Contains Some Spoilers):In my opinion the best part of the series yet. This release includes the first part of series including the Summer Camp arc mentioned at the end of series 3 and All Might's epic battle with All For One. Definitely the best fight of the series so far. If you have only watched up till then end of season 2 then it is definitely worth picking this up to continue watching.PROS:- Excellent Video/Audio Quality on Blu-ray and DVD- Best physical extras of any collectors edition I have owned- Lots of on-disc extras- Best collectors edition of any anime I have owned so farCONS:- Extras only on Blu-ray. Not on DVD- DVD subtitles a little uglyOverall if you are a fan of hero academia then this collectors edition is the best way to own this part of the series and I strongly recommend picking it up. If the collectors edition is not for you however the standard blu-ray will also be excellent as well as the DVD if you don't have a blu-ray player. By far the best collectors edition anime I have owned so far.

A Hero's End...and a Hero's Beginning.
My Hero Academia Season Three Part 1 kicks off...by taking a turn for the worst. Villains are once again interfering with the lives of the young heroes in training...and things only get even more worse when one of their very own is taken captive! a great Hero of his time is willing to sacrifice both anything and everything...if it means saving the next generation that will follow afterwards.

The highlight of the show so far for me!
When I finished series 2 for the first time, I could definitely say that I love this Anime, but after watching the first half of series 3, it just blew me away even more! The tension, the emotions, the stakes, the battles, the animation and the character development are all fantastic. Episode 4 and 11 are my two favourite episodes of the show so far and among my favourite episodes to any Anime ever, especially 11.I just really hope the writers and animators can maintain this level of quality in the 4th series.

Great addition to the series
Great set of episodes of this BRILLIANT anime series. The characters get better and better as it goes on - a must for fans of the previous seasons. Oddly didn't come with the cardboard sleeve which season 3 part 2 did.
