The Art of Cuphead

I bought this book for my sister for her birthday. The book is full of awesome art, and my sister is a big fan of Cuphead, so she really likes the book which is great. It was definitely worth the money. 👍

Great book for anyone who enjoyed the videogame. Plenty of details of the inspirations for characters/bosses etc. Looks great which should come as no surprise as Cuphead is one of the most visually distinct videogames of the last decade. For extra nerdiness, buy the vinyl soundtrack and read while listening!

I haven’t played the game (yet) but I’m familiar with Cuphead and it’s distinct 1930’s art style, which I love. I’m a big fan of traditional 2D animation, and this book is bursting with designs and sketches that give you an insight into how the game was created. I got mine for a very good price, I suggest snapping it up whilst you still can as it’s definitely worth the money!

My daughter was very pleased with this book, the illustrations were fantastic, and made it easy for her to draw the characters.

I own alot of "Art of Books" but this one is PERFECT! I'm only on page 70 and can already say iv had my monies worth. It's gorgeous! It feels premium. Looks devine, and the insight to the games development is amazing. Wether it's £24 like I paid or £124. Just buy it! You will not be disappointed!

Behind the scenes of cuphead, but in a book. Excellent read for my 9 Yr old son who likes cuphead and behind the scenes and designs :)

Para empezar, hay dos tipos de consumidores de libros de arte; los que se lo leen enteramente y los que ven sólo los dibujos. Ambos respetables. Bueno, si eres el primer caso, tendrás que saber inglés, si no es probable que no entiendas ni la mitad. Para los segundos, ¡adelante! Ya podéis comprarlo. Dejando el idioma a un lado, este libro de arte me parece de los más dedicados y completos que tengo de mi colección. Se hace hincapié en muchos aspectos, como si de un reportaje se tratara. A nivel visual y de estructura está correctamente organizado para que sea llevadera su lectura, tan ornamentado con dibujos y bocetos. Sin duda merece la pena el dinero gastado, el libro es muy robusto y da sensación de calidad, además que por ese mismo precio o superior encontramos otros muchos libros de arte mucho más pobres, dedicados en exclusiva a las imágenes y bocetos (no se me malinterprete, no dejan de ser artbooks y son para eso, pero me gusta que tengan pequeñas explicaciones tales como por qué se decantaron por un diseño, en qué se inspiraron para este otro, etc.) Recomendado.
