Years ago bought one of these from a chiropractor .. but under a different name, maybe Koalaty or something. And when you have certain kinds of neck problems, sometimes it's a gotta have. After a decade it started deteriorating here and there, kept adding epoxy to seal it up but really needed to replace. Was very pleased to find a new one. Because the other inflatable ones I've used are nowhere near as nice. This is comfortable and effective.

Smells like gasoline, cant wash that smell off. The "pad" around the top where your head rests will fall off immediately and is made so cheap it wont go back on. It separates your neck but doesnt allow for any side to side rotation. i found the Neck Pro to be FAR better at getting serious relief fast. Not as portable, but at least its usable.

I'm tall and have a longer than average neck. This device, even when fully inflated, doesn't reach both my shoulder and skull. I am forced to wrap a towel around my shoulders and then place the device on top of the towel in order to raise it up high enough to get any traction. In addition, the one way valve in the inflating bulb pops out a lot - the "plumbing" feels cheap.

I've needed to have my neck worked on, for quite some time now. And I decided to give this a shot.It's an odd device, but it does a pretty fair job of giving me a stretch in my neck. I don't think I would call it traction, exactly, it's far more gentle than that. Which is nice, since I think, in some instances, the force of full traction is more than a little disconcerting.I do have a very large neck (18-18.5) and it can be a little uncomfortable in the first couple of minutes, but I think that may be more a product of my mind - than of the device itself.Definitely let it air out for a day or so before the first use - as it has a strong rubbery odor - which is a little stifling, in and of itself.The only reason I gave 4 out of 5, is because the cloth cover, for the top rib, is a piece of garbage. I've yet to figure out an alternative, but I dumped that thing right off.

I have 3 pinched nerves in my neck and using this mad things much worse. I went from discomfort to server pain.

Recommended by my chiropractor to help maintain my neck after alignment. I wear it every so often for 20 - 30 minutes and then follow the recommended exercises that come with this device followed by icing down my neck. Neck has not caused any problems since, avoiding repeat chiropractor visits.
