This Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer is what I reach for when my face is asking questions I don’t want to answer. The color match blends easily with my foundation, the coverage is solid without looking heavy, and it actually makes dark circles mind their business. It layers well, doesn’t crease like it’s holding a grudge, and most importantly — it dries quickly, so you’re not standing there waiting like it’s paint. The foundation quality is surprisingly good for something so easy to use, which I appreciate because mornings are already doing too much. Final thought: I didn’t rewind time, but I did look like I slept...and honestly, I’ll take the win.

This concealer goes on very smooth and blends easily without feeling heavy. It gives light, natural-looking coverage and helps brighten under my eyes. It’s perfect for everyday makeup when you want a fresh look without feeling cakey. Easy to use, gentle on the skin, and great for quick touch-ups. Would definitely buy again. 💕

This is my favorite concealer I have ever found. Goes on so smoothly and you can build the coverage easily. It is very lightweight on your skin so you feel like your skin can breathe. They have tons of shades to choose from to match your skin tone. I wear the Fair color in the winter when my skin in pale and the medium in the summer when I am tan. It is long wearing and the price is very reasonable. It is also very compact so I keep one in my purse, my car and my makeup bag.

I honestly use this as a foundation all over my face. It has light coverage but it’s a perfect everyday foundation for me actually. Not too thick and it’s a great value. It lasts moderately long. I use the lightest shade because I’m pretty fair and it matches me perfectly. I would say I have slight yellow undertones. I take the sponge off because it is more hygienic that way.

I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I've given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc. I say this in order to grab the attention of my fellow makeup snobs: If you would never even consider Maybelline, this review is for you. Bloggers have raved about this product for a while, but I never bothered to check it out until a close friend and fellow product snob suggested it. Here are my findings: 1. It applies like the Armani Maestro Eraser liquid undereye concealer. This is very very essential, for those of us who hate the 5th hour cakiness of cream concealers but also hate the weak coverage and creasing of most liquid attempts. This eraser goes on with the Maestro's same thin liquid texture, without sinking into lines at all, and without losing opacity as you blend. 2. It is at least 50% more opaque than the Maestro. I was pretty stunned. Anything that can go on with that consistency but have noticeably better coverage is doubletake worthy imo. 3. The sponge applicator is better than you think. Firstly, it's antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about the hygiene aspect. Secondly, its ability to blend the product is outstanding. I typically skip clumsy applicators like that, but with this, I do 80% of my application with that sponge tip, and then just finish with a good concealer brush to set it and blend out the edges. 4. It doubles as a highlighter. Every time I use this, I find myself seduced into just continuing the line of application from under my eyes out onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge. A nice blending brush/sponge later, and there's this flawless highlight landscape to finish up, without settling badly into pores or caking up. 5. It sets beautifully with MUFE Micro HD powder and Shiseido translucent powder. It buffs out nicely, without chipping off into the brush. 6. It looks good without primer, which combined with its compact design and integrated applicator makes it an ideal purse dweller. 7. It worked on my thin but minimally wrinkled undereye area, and on my 60yo mother's more aged eye area. It's rare that I find a product that looks great on both our skin types, and I was impressed at how well it brightened her problem skin without caking or exacerbating the age marks. 8. It is lighter than you think, but cheap enough to test out different shades. 9. It lasts so much longer than you'd expect. I tested it on bare skin during a work-from-home day, just to see how the wear was, and was delighted to find it still working fairly well by the time I went to wash it off that night. I wore it again with a full face for a date night, and it looked flawless when I went to wash it off later. There are times when you don't want the totally opaque, nearly airbrushed look... but there are definitely times when you do. This eraser is now my official go-to product to pair with my Dior Airflash foundation, for those totally flawless skin look occasions. I could not recommend it higher, at very least as an experiment for the snobs among you.

I’ve purchased this concealer several times now. It’s a little thinner consistency than others which I like for my 57 year old wrinkled eyes. Despite the thinner consistency it gives really good coverage. (It’s not watery thin but just thinner than several others I’ve tried). I use this under my foundation but I’ve seen people use it over their foundation too. It brightens under my eyes, gets rid of any redness I might have (I tend to be red around my nose) and doesn’t settle in wrinkles. Lasts all day too. I’ve used this instead of foundation at times too when I’m feeling lazy or am just running errands. They have a really good variety of colors to match my pale skin. I’ve tried different colors of this in the palest range and they all seem to work, some just brighten a bit more depending on how light I go. I use the applicator to just tap different areas of my face and blend out either with my fingers or a foundation brush. Blends easily but I do use a lotion and sunscreen first which helps with that. Lasts me a long time. It seems there’s more in the tube than you would think. For once a company actually fills the whole tube and isn’t tricking you to think you’re getting more with clever packaging. I don’t think I can say other brand names here but to me it’s better than “Lor” “El.” Or “Mila.” If you know you know. It’s also way better for wrinkled skin than the ones that come as a cream. I can’t compare to the more expensive, high end brands bc I don’t buy them for concealer.

I have to say that I was not expecting much from this product and I bought it on a whim after I looked in the mirror under the fluorescent lights at work and saw the line of an actual VEIN running under my eye and freaked out. Who has skin so transparent you can see their face veins? Gross! I have crappy sinuses, am super pale, and live through the daily struggles of a stress-inducing and sleep-depriving corporate job that seems to suck the life out of me so my dark circles are to me, something that I am always aware of. They aren't absolutely terrible but when coupled with the hollows under my eyes that are hereditary, the area under both of my eyes seems to absorb the light like an evil black hole. Anyway, I've tried a lot of products, from high-end concealers to other drug store brands and all have some sort of drawback, make them look worse, or just don't work at all. This one, while not perfect, is the BEST I've tried so far! As I said before, I'm pale enough that I basically double as a person-shaped night light (strawberry blonde hair, light eyes, and oodles of freckles) and I bought the lightest color available. While it is still slightly dark for me when I put it on, it appears to blend in with my skin after I pat it in with my fingers. It also works well for any areas on my face that are red. The concealer doesn't make me look like I have a million fine lines under my eyes that I don't actually have, like a lot of others that I tried, and it has also performed well with every eye cream that I've used it with--it didn't cake, ball up, or change colors. It has not upset my sensitive eyes or the skin around them, which is a small miracle as I have problems with probably 85% of the products I try, so that was a huge deal for me! The only things I would change about it would be to have some sort of natural/chemical-free sunscreen for some eye protection, since many eye creams and concealers don't offer any and in a perfect world, it might have some sort of anti-aging or darkness fighting properties. It doesn't make the dark circles completely disappear, but I could see that it would if I wore more makeup as I normally only wear a tinted mineral powder or light BB cream as my normal makeup since my sensitive and pale skin with freckles make finding a foundation nearly impossible (MAC and Sephora have failed me!). For those who are lucky enough to be able to wear normal foundation without looking like a [badly] painted lady, this would probably be a miracle in a bottle when used in conjunction with it. Overall, this concealer is definitely a great buy. I wouldn't call it a miracle since you can still see some residual darkness under my eyes showing through, but it's definitely the best I've tried and it certainly makes me look about 200% better with it on than I do without it! I would definitely recommend it and will buy it again when it runs out, though I think it will last a while since the amount in the container seems very generous and I'm light-handed with how I apply makeup. I am considering trying the foundation from the same line to see if my sensitive face will accept it or if it'll punish me for trying it. Oh, and I also didn't realize that I was going to receive two of them when I ordered it, which was really cool to find when I opened the box. I have no idea if that was a mistake or if I just didn't read the listing right, but either way, I thought that was pretty cool! :-)
