Best Adherent for Mounting Paintings
I'm an artist and work mostly in gouache (water based paint). This is what I use to mount my paintings to chipboard. It does a beautiful job and cleans up easily. Just be sure to use at least two coats and to dry-mount rather than wet-mount, which I found to be unsatisfactory. You can avoid misplacement of your artwork by lining up the edges of your painting and the chipboard, and placing a piece of uncoated paper between the painting and the chipboard. This allows for some movement on a dry-mount and keeps you from misplacing the painting on the chipboard and ending up with a misaligned painting. I wouldn't use anything else but this cement for my artwork. It's the best!

Perfection!
Used in art classes and professional studios. I bought a can to refill all the empty brown glass jars with brushes-in-caps in my craft room. High quality cement holds securely. Dries fast. Thick and GORGEOUS rubber cement. Will buy again and again now that I found it on Amazon.

Glue
I love using rubber cement on all my construction paper or poster projects! The only bad thing is the smell. It does have an oder. But it does keeps the project from wrinkling up.

Great for collage art!
Arrived all banged up at one bottom corner- luckily using it to refill small cans of rubber/paper cement. I do like that you can get this large can to refill the smaller ones.

Lives up to all I read about this glue
This glue works awesome as long as you get your mix correct. Haven't had any problems with adhesion lasting either. Dries faster than expected, works perfectly.

Used product drained of rubber cement
Not good. Item was opened and a lot of the rubber cement was gone.

THERE IS NO OTHER!!
I've been using this brand since we used to paste up our newspaper formats and getting them "camera-ready" for the printer. I still use it now that I'm retired. I do all sorts of paper and fabric crafts that always look so much better than my cronies. I keep in a dark, tinted glass container with the adjustable brush through the top. I also have a dedicated pasting service (an old plastic cutting board) that makes using this glue easy. There also three ways to paste and 2 of them allows you to reposition.

Rubbermania
I love rubber cement for paper projects. It applies easily and works seamlessly. Buying it in larger quantities such as it is sold here is better than buying it in small little bottles at grocery stores. If you have children in school you can't go wrong with this purchase.
