No . . sizing will give your linen garment just the right amount of substance and still look like linen! Same on cotton. I wash linen bed and sofa pillows, then out of the dryer, use a coat of Magic Sizing and a hot iron and every time pillows come out fresh smelling and looking crisp and brand new. bought to teach my best friend how to sew as you go, taught her how to make seasonal placemats and this product worked very well for folding the fabric and scoring with out using an iron.

This is a great product— there’s no denying’s ability to make any compatible fabric look crisp and like-new. I am deducting a star for poor product design: like others, my experience has been that the nozzle is poorly designed. It’s incredibly fragile, so one drop or hard tip over doesn’t just pop up the nozzle, but can completely, irreparably break it off (see photo). It can also make it feel occasionally unsteady in the hand when trying to get an even spray.

I've used this spray starch for years. It works well. No sticky residue on the iron. Can't find it in stores. So happy Amazon offers it.

Inused to own a mobile laundry business and i also did ironing. This was the only product i would ever use to iron with, other than spray steam. This adds the perfect amount of body to the fabric without that yukky "starched" feeling. i also have never experienced that flakey gunk that is so common to ironing items with spray starch. This product used to be cheaper years ago but what can you do. Overall it's still good quality because its a nice touch. It out performs all the others! Lightly spray. Don't go heavy handed. Follow the directions. If you love beautiful ironing, you need this! BTW, My husband loves the nice scent of the spray when Im ironing lol maybe i should spray some on my wrists! (Just kidding😂)
