A Must Have!! Will play everything on a tv!!!
Works great and it allows you to watch anything from your iPhone on any TV that has a HDMI port! Some people on here say it doesn’t for some reason let you watch streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or just any app that streams any video content) but it’s just simply not true! On any TV that has an HDMI port, which it’s insanely rare that you will even own or use a TV that does not have an HDMI port, you will 100% be able to watch anything on TV with this device that you can watch on your iPhone.I even watch DIRECTV through my DIRECTV app on any TV. It’s a must have especially in a place where there is not a internet connection like in rural areas or just any place with no internet. It just all depends on the type of service you get though if there is no internet connection. But, it all boils down to if you can watch it on your iPhone then you can watch it on a tv with this device. It just simply mirrors whatever is showing up on your iPhone screen. So, as soon as you plug it into your iPhone and then plug it into the TV you will immediately see whatever your screen on your iPhone is displaying!I take this with me every time I travel just Incase the hotel, vacation home, lakehouse, or anywhere that might not have internet, good Wi-Fi signal, or just Incase the place I’m at happens to loose internet service for a while or something? Just remember to invest in a lengthy hdmi cord so you can use it while you are in bed or sitting on the couch. If you do not want to buy a lengthy HDMI cord and you have two at your house then you can always buy an hdmi extension adapter to make two smaller hdmi cords just one longer hdmi cord to help reach wherever you are at. Buy, I highly recommend buying both (lengthy hdmi cord and extension adapter) so in case you go on a trip and the cord isn’t quit long enough you can just add another one from the place you are at, that is if they have another one?I bought a 15’, 20’, and even a 25’ hdmi cord and I have to say the 25’ cord is the one use the most because it’s never not long enough and I always can use the device while I’m in bed or wherever very comfortably.Lastly, since it has a charging port on it which is the best part I might add due to the battery consumption that streaming videos takes up on a phone. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to buy a iPhone chargrging cord (usb to lightning cord) that is much longer than the standard iPhone charging cord. If you want to use the long hdmi cord to use it while in bed or on the couch and you don’t have it charging then it’s pointless to even use the long hdmi cord or even the device itself. You don’t want to be using this and then go out and your phone is almost dead or if you want to use the device to watch something on the tv and your phone is almost dead. My point is you never know where the outlets are going to be in a place you have never been and you are wanting to have it on the nightstand or just close to you so you don’t have to get up and go hit pause, play, or switch to something else to watch.I hope this was thorough enough and helps answer any questions some of you might have. But, I promise this plays any streaming app your tv so please do not listen to anyone saying that it doesn’t because they are for some reason lying or they just have no idea what they are talking about?!Alright, have a great day!!

Trouble free use
I have used this for months with no issues and use it to stream content from my phone to the TV. Even TV on the go at a couple hotels. Well worth having. Get an HDMI cable too.

Does NOT pass through phone connection to DJI Mini 2 controller
Research what this adapter will and will NOT do before purchasing. It does an excellent job of what it is designed for.I intended to connect this between my DJI Mini 2 controller and my iPhone 12 mini and use the HDMI out to connect to a pair of video goggles. However, this adapter’s Lightning (Apple Phone) connector does NOT pass through the OTG (On The Go) information from the DJI controller to the phone. The Lightning connector on this adaptor appears to be for charging only. Also, unrelated to my drone setup, the adapter’s HDMI out will NOT work with encrypted video, such as paid services like Amazon Prime, etc. What DOES work:The HDMI output will successfully mirror the iPhone screen when viewing videos, pictures, and documents. I was able to view “free to view” YouTube videos (this might be different if you have YouTube’s paid service…I do NOT and am unable to verify). I subscribe to Formula 1 (F1 TV Pro), and it DID work! For those interested in connecting your DJI Mini 2 to HDMI video goggles, what ultimately worked for me was mirroring my screen wirelessly to my Roku 4K streaming stick. First, I power the Roku with a power bank battery. Then, I connect it to the phone using the Hotspot feature. Next, I use screen mirroring and select Roku. Next, I connected the Roku's HDMI output to the goggles (I bought VISIONHMD Bigeyes H3). The connection has a lag now and again, so it's not ideal for fast FPV flying, but it is absolutely GREAT for in bright sunlight, where it would normally be difficult to see the screen.

It just works...
So let's just lay some facts out on the table right now. It's an Apple product which means it's of good to high quality craftsmanship. It's official which means it will definitely work with your Apple product (IPod, IPhone, iPad, ect). And being an Apple product, it's gonna be 2-4x the price of every other like similar item on the market. But here's the deal, there isn't any similar item on the market, not exactly (and I bet Apple knows this). Do an Amazon search and see how many items are exactly like this, minus the Apple name. Currently, zero. Actually, I had one in my cart for quite some time, but just kept dragging my feet in the purchase. It was exactly like this adapter, except it wasn't made by Apple and... the price fluctuated from $18-20. Recently when I decided I should buy it, it was gone. Poof, vanished like the waiter at Cracker Barrel. I'm no conspiracy theorist (although I do think the moon landing was faked to fund research in Area 51) but it's not uncommon for powerful companies to sue and/or buy up the competition. My guess is that the product I saw infringed upon Apple's trademarks and copyrights and after a few phone calls, it was MIA. So, currently Apple has a corner on the market and it shows. $50 is a stupid amount of money for an item that honestly probably costs $1.29 to produce. But venture onward before writing it off on price and trying to save $30-40 (and yes, that's the mark up over "competing" products.Honestly, no one, including me, wants to drop $50+ for something so simple to design and manufacture. But before you pull the trigger on that Samsuit Feel Right Pro HDMI Adapter 2000, take a few minutes to read the specs, method of operation and a few reviews. Many of these cheaper alternatives require a Hotspot. The fine writing on some state that it won't work with certain apps, networks, cell services, etc. When you consider the relative simplicity of what these devises should be doing, it's amazing how much they don't do and/or some of the hoops you need to jump through to get it working. Which brings us to this Apple adapter.Mine showed up in the standard, white, Apple box. If you've ever bought an Apple product, you know the one. There were no instructions, just the adapter (but with something so simple an orangutan could operate, why include instruction? One lighting connection that plugs into your Apple device. One socket to plug in your HDMI cable (that plugs into your tv/monitor). And away we go. It's that simple. The device takes over and displays whatever is on your IOS screen on your tv. There is also another port on the adapter to plug in a lightening cable for charging your Apple device, but it's not needed (as long as you have a decent charge). I've watched whole movies off my IPad and only used a few percent charge. Seriously, the hardest part about setting the whole thing up is changing your tv display to HDMI in (read your manual if you don't know how).I haven't read all of the 4,000+ reviews on this adapter, so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the other day I pulled a movie up on my IPad that didn't have a full screen ratio (black lines on top/bottom). My tv is the correct ratio and when the movie displayed on the screen, it displayed full screen. I've watched a bunch of movies, and it seems that regardless the format, it always adjusts to give me the max display image.A little plug for Amazon Prime here, but the main reason I bought this adapter was to watch Prime Video (and a little YouTube) on my tv, and I have not been disappointed. I'm an also attest that my aunt bought the same adapter to display Netflix from her iPhone to a tv and it works flawlessly. The only caveat I have is that the plastic on this adapter doesn't seem quite as strong as other Apple products I've own/owned. It may just be my imagination though. I'd say that if you don't take it on any Everest expeditions or just it to prop up a bookcase, it'll probably give you a year of use... I mean, after all, that is how long until Apple comes out with another another connection type effectively rendering this item useless for all future products. Let's just be honest here.Five stars for simplicity of use and design. Minus one star for the Trump price tag.Enjoy it while you can.
