Just what I was looking for.
I've been looking for a horizontal belt mag pouch for awhile now. I came across this one. Comes in two sizes. I wanted the pouch to cover the entire magazine incase someone actually saw it. I bought the larger version which is t that big. It works great. Velcro flap to cover magazine and a clip to secure it. It kinda looks like a leatherman sheath. Made of nylon and seems to be good quality. It works with all 3 pistol magazine types I conceal carry. One is and XDs 45 6 round mid mag x-tension. The other 2 are a 15 round 9mm sig P320 and an 8 round 1911. Disappears under a shirt. Love it. Always carry an extra magazine if you carry!

I'm Ordering Another One For Myself!
I purchased my wife a completely different Valentine's gift this year....and I'm sure there are many women that would not be happy with my gift if they were in her shoes!!! We've been together nearly 20 years and I've given gifts ranging from gold to diamonds to travel to clothing over the years. This past X-mas, along with many nice gifts women do enjoy, I purchased for amusement a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun and warned her about "shooting her eye out"! So, I continued the same "theme" and purchased a few items that would help complete the wife's GI Jane look! One of the items was a really nice lock-blade knife with a blue handle....her favorite color. The FURY TAC SHEATH was purchased so she could strap it to her waist. I have to say, I thought (many times) about keeping the sheath and giving her my sheath instead!!! Damn, this sheath is really nice! So nice, I will be ordering my own before they are no longer available. The sheath allows you to wear it on your belt vertically or horizontally. The sheath closes with Velcro but also a buckle which is really nice given Velcro wears out over time. Value for my money? Like I said, I'm ordering a second FURY TAC SHEATH!

Sent them back
This is a good product and a great price if you are looking for something that is big enough to put a cell phone in it! I sent them back because I was expecting them to be the size of a knife or a pistol magazine. They will hold a deck of cards, but not suitable for any knife I've ever seen, not even a multi tool.

Odd size for knives but perfect for pepper spray
I'm a knife collector and own many folding knives. I bought this hoping it would fit-well a couple of my knives and it TOTALLY failed at that. This sheath has a squarish shape that fits no folding knife very well.It DOES fit LARGE folding knives like the new model Cold Steel Voyager and new model Recon 1 but not the way that you would think. It expands to fit the knife... the velcro doesn't close but the clasp does because the clasp is adjustable. All knives have vertical play because the sheath is much wider than most knives. This sheath will hold an object that is:2" wide4"-4.6" long (depending on how thick it is and whether you want the velcro to close or just the clasp)1"-1.4" thick (depending on how much you stretched it width-wise)This sheath holds a FOX 2oz. foam pepper spray PERFECTLY.Quality seems good -- close to Maxpedition. It mounts both vertically or horizontally.

Nice sheath ... well, I thought it was
This sheath is almost really good. There are some design changes I would make, For example, the sheath is sized for a folding knife, so the combination of velcro and clip closures on the flap seems like overkill to me. I do like the sheath but wish it was either: 1) the same size and drop the clip closure, or 2) keep the double closure but increase the size to make it more of a pouch size where multiple items could be kept. Other than that, I have no complaints. The quality is good and it is definitely worth the price.Update: June 29, 2014 I did not use this sheath for a few months and it sat in my drawer. Then about a week ago my old Gerber multi-tool sheath split after several years of use. Turns out this sheath fit it perfectly. Great! I was in business without having to try to find something else. Unfortunately, within about a week of carrying this sheath (not even every day) the vertical carry strap sewing came loose. It was just on my belt without any undue strain. I hadn't realized it (hadn't looked carefully enough) but the strap had only a single line of stitching and it did not last at all. This appeared to be a good sheath for a good price, but that sort of failure makes it worthless.

Exactly what I wanted
I have been looking for a "survival sheath" for my Ka-Bar for a while. I basically just wanted something that could hold a sharpener and firesteel. I ordered 2 of these hoping that the horizontal belt mounting option would work on my leather sheath. I was very happy to discover that the loops were heavy elastic and fit perfectly over my sheath. the sheath meaures 2.25" for your reference. I shook it around vigorously , and it did not slip down. I wrpped it with paracord underneath , just in case , which also added another tool to my sheath. See the pics I included. I also put a sheath over a 10" blade Winchester bowie.

All stitching is quality and the material is of good quality. I'd like to see better elastic used ...
These are fairly well made pouches. All stitching is quality and the material is of good quality.I'd like to see better elastic used in the belt loops though. It doesn't seem to be strong enough and is already stretching out on 4 of the 6 pouches I ordered. Luckily there is another belt loop in the opposite direction made from the same material as the pouch.

great pouch when I bought it
I have put several different things into these pouches. I bought (4) of them at once when they were under $6 each. I think the company figured out there was a demand for them and jacked the price up to about $14 each. Not such a good deal now... BUT, to be fair, I'm reviewing this product for WHEN I bought it. I really like the fact it has a velcro-type flap AND the plastic snap buckle. No worries about your fold-up knife or multi-tool falling out unless the buckle gets broken AND the flap is ripped open. I'm sure there are more manufacturers out there who make something similar, but I really like this sheath/case. The case can also be mounted vertically or horizontally, another nice option. I have a large swiss army knife in one of these pouches, and there's still plenty of room. My Gerber multifunction tool is a little tighter fit, but still fits. My little HOBO eating tool easily fits into the pouch. I highly recommend this product, especially if you can find them for under $6 again.
